Implantable Contacts

Have you had this done? I went to the eye doctor for a consultation, hoping that I would qualify for Lasik surgery. My vision is too bad for that, so he suggested implantable contacts. I'd like to hear from someone who has done this. Thanks!

Never heard of this, but curious what happens when your prescription changes? Surgery every two years sounds a bit dangerous. My script changes at least that often.
