Three weeks ago flights for our March/April trip were at 211.50 RT from O'hare on American. Today least expensive rt I can find is ATA at 240. Last year DH and flew PanAm out of Gary and enjoyed the service and the trip but can't book that this early. Should I just try to be patient and wait it out for awhile? The advantage of Gary Airport is that it is small and there are no parking fees. If we use Chicago we book a limo rt from our home. We are leaving the day before Easter and coming back the following Thursday. I'm getting nervous with the prices going up almost daily.

you can book now or wait. booking now will reserve you a seat in the lowest class available and then when that same class goes even lower you will get the refund voucher for the difference when you call them back and have them reprice your itinerary. have you also checked midway airport? and are you close to milwaukee airport as well? that time of youe you are looking at doesn't book as fast as say thanksgiving and xmas. but if spring break is in your area at that time that youare looking to book I would say yes book it now then call back later to get the refund voucher.
