Imagineering Field Guide to WDW book

So did anyone get there book yet?? And if so from where????

I ordered mine on June 8 and still have not received it but Amazon has kept changing the shipping date! Here is what it is now
"Shipping estimate: June 9, 2005 - August 8, 2005
Delivery estimate: June 20, 2005 - August 22, 2005"
...needless to say I still do not have it in my hot little hands!

I ordered mine, what seems like forever ago, and now Amazon says the shipping date is like 9/28, it's been months! What takes them so long??

I ordered mine from Amazon a few weeks ago and it now is being prepared for shipping! It should ship today!!! I will be devouring it over Labor Day weekend!

I ordered this book from Barnes and Nobles and have checked all summer and they keep pushing back the date-I haven't called out there to check on it lately - :confused3 thought it was a lost cause, I will be calling out there in a little while and will post back what they tell me.let's hope we all get our books soon................... :goodvibes

My local B+N told me yesterday they would order one for me and it would be in in 3-5 days. We'll see!!

I ordered mine on Aug. 25 and Amazon.com estimates the shipping date to be Monday, Aug. 29. Hope it's true!

I talked to my local B&N directly. His computer showed that THEY HAD THEM, but they were sold out, and then re-ordered. The computer also showed that they had THOUSANDS of them IN STOCK in two or their nationally located wherehouses. He ordered one for me and said that they would be in anywhere from 3-8 working days. That was 2 days ago. :rolleyes1 We'll see......

I ordered mine yesterday from ecampus.com. There is a 5 dollar coupon if you enter 5save. With S&H my total came to 7.94. I received an email from them stating that it should ship no later than 8/31. Will let everyone know when I receive it.

:confused3 I talked to Barnes and Noble this am and she said they have about 1/2 of the shipment of books in the warehouse.and they would be shipped out in the next week.
:hourglass I guess we'll just have to see .......... :earseek:

Shipping date changed on my Amazon order today--to September 9!! It reads
"Shipping estimate: June 9, 2005 - August 31, 2005
Delivery estimate: June 20, 2005 - September 9, 2005 "
How can they keep changing the date like that??
:idea:Probably because idiots like me  complain about it but don't cancel my order to buy it elsewhere!!
I WANT MY BOOK!!! :badpc:

Does anyone know for sure that the book has actually been released?

A couple of years ago, I was anxiously awaiting the arrival of the 2nd book in a series on saltwater fish, due to be released by a small publishing company. I would see the book listed on Amazon and B & N, order it, the date would get pushed back, my order cancelled, etc. I finally was able to talk to the author at a conference and he told me that the release of the book had been pushed back for another year but for some reason, none of the outlets had removed the book from their systems!

I hope this isn't the case with this book; I'd like to read it too!

I picked one up yesterday at Barnes and Noble. There where two on the shelf.

I ordered three from amazon.com last week and received them yesterday. So far, its a pretty good read. Definitely from the Imagineers' point of view.

I have a hold for the book at Borders. After reading the reports of it surfacing I called them and got nowhere. I called Barnes & Noble and a nice gentelman put me on hold.....told me he had one in his hand and would put it on hold for me. I'll be reading it FEVERISHLY tomorrow night!

I canceled my order with Overstock.com when they moved the release date to 9/30. However, I saw that several people said Books-A-Million was shipping, so I went looking for a copy yesterday. I went to a Books-a-Million, Barnes and Noble, and then another Books-a-Million. They had one copy left. I started reading last night and got through the section on the imagineers and Main Street, USA. It is very interesting, although my husband seemed irritated that I kept interrupting his TV show to tell him the "secrets." I cannot wait to go in a couple of weeks. I am going to try and take it all in more than when I was there in March. It was so crowded then, that I was just in a hurry to get it all done. This book will help me appreciate all the hard work that went into planning MK.
