Very thankful to have made more great recovery progress earlier. My roommate is at an appointment currently so it is nice having the room to myself.

I'm wishing I was on Coast starlight Amtrak north..4 hours late into Redding California..
They ate their breakfast to the view of the most beautiful section of the train..

Redding is always dark on the summer trek... dunsmuir at 5:00 morning is standard for summer so those folks will be awake

It really is with Shasta resvior, rolling California chaparral hills with arid vegation..then into the rocky canyons.. there are canyons when you leave/enter Willamette valley but the forest hides the granduer

Also mind blowing jeopardy last night... my brain... here is a clue

I'm praying no matter what to keep raising a hallelujah as the song goes. As a human, my heart is still so devastated. I know God's Will, will always prevail. I would appreciate extra prayers for a positive resolution to a crucial aspect of my continued recovery. Thank you, friends.

Every morning I wash my face and half my face is still gone.. every hour I deal with the seeping of the fluids from my eye and nose... and I wonder ...if I was not deformed... people would not remember me ... during the church farmers market folks are always ask the pastor.."should that man with the stroke be unloading these heavy stuff?".... and she says..no stroke but an amazing story..
And they ask me and I tell them how Jesus has made me special with this cancer....
And I smile in the morning mirror

Farm raised. There are wild raspberries growing near the harbor. They are nearly ready to be picked, but there is too much poison Ivy growing with them. I can’t chance it. These were from a local pick your fruit farm.

We were at the pool, and so, we’ll be watching Jeopardy in a bit. Good for you!

Our pond had an electrical problem earlier in this week. Major work will have to be done next week. Meanwhile, I’m very pleased with water quality, and some flowers.

Did the fish survive?

Yes. We used an extension cord, so the waterfall and the main filter were still working. We had the pond installed 8 years ago. The work was incredibly sloppy, and the pond failed and was replaced after just 2 years, and now it turns out that the underground electric wire was not good enough. It will be replaced next week.

One of my goldfish is black, and it’s very hard to see it. Mostly I see it as circular ripple, as in this picture. It’s in the shallow shelf.
