I'm watching DGD today. Part time at my house and part time at hers.
I finally had a free day and grandparent duty came

We got rain today, but no snow. Happy here in Cape May!

Tomorrow we intend to take down Christmas decorations.

Well, I ended up not watching her.
DIL's appointment was cancelled so she stayed home.

No rain here. Wish we would get some.

I fell in shower today. So am in hospital getting checked out .

Dave is in the hospital too. Hopefully out tomorrow.
Went in with chest pains, but wasn't his heart. It was his lungs. He apparently had a blood clot behind his knee that broke up and went to his lungs. On blood thinners and if tonight goes well we can still go on our trip

The CAT scan did not show any new strokes.

But they are keeping me for observation and I will get another CAT scan tomorrow.

I will get an open MRI on January 18.

I can’t get the dye for the CAT scan. If I could, they would be able to learn more now.

DIL got it. They gave her something that made it tolerable. Haven't heard the results yet.

Too early. He just had a test. Our hospital doesn't decide anything until after noon.
He didn't get a room until 5:30 last night

I’m not looking forward to going outside to work today - cold cold rain here

Katie’s BF left today after being her a couple days - he’s a very nice young man and he very well may be “the one”. With him being 3 hours away, it’s been a hard to get to know him, but when we do have some time with him we enjoy being with him.

@bobbiwoz - I’m so sorry to read what’s been happening with you . I’m glad to hear you might go home today. Sending lots of prayers and PD your way . Please keep us updated with how you’re doing.

@Meriweather - I’m also sorry to hear about Dave. Blood clots are scary. I’ll keep him in my prayers as well. I hope he gets well soon so you can go on your trip. Keep us updated .

I got my room after 10 last night. I am still hoping to leave today. Tom was able to get a cancellation, and I have an open MRI scheduled for tomorrow…so I have to be there!
