I'm.........

Well, having lived in WA for years, I've seen lots of whales, especially Orcas.......so great!
Sure looking forward to going.....we are back to 110 today
Wow….that‘s hot
Stay cool today.
High of 71 here, which may sound nice, but to me it’s not - I want hotter days to use the pool a few more times before closing it up for the winter.

I’m headed to the gym in a few minutes and then trimming bushes this afternoon - may as well do something productive in the cool temps.

It has been hotter than usual this summer (it's always hot but we have broken a lot of records). 111 expected today and then 114 tomorrow and then hopefully it will start going down

@Meriweather, in Washington state, did you see whales from shore mostly, or from an excursion boat? We expect to take a Riverboat cruise next October and could spend time before exploring Pacific whale watching from Oregon if that’s possible.

You can sometime see them from shore......up north more. We have also been on a few whale watching. Out of Bellingham is better......if you go out of Seattle, they go up that way.
They come by the boats and come up and go under the boats. It is a lot of fun to watch.

Thanks for this. We will be going out of Portland…we don’t have an actual date for the cruise, so, I will show friends what’s what regarding Oregon whale watching and see if we can do both on one trip to Portland.
We looked at the cruise......decided against it. Too pricey for a place we lived around for so long.
Opted for an 18 day Circle Hawaii cruise instead and it is booked!!
