Back from getting another Covid booster

Picture from this morning. I willed the bird to turn around but it didn’t.

My incision is nearly all healed. I am doing exercises, today I begin using scar away.
Tom is doing very well. Swelling is a problem, and he uses ice and elevates his legs. Nothing bad according to nurse or physical therapist.

I’m happy to say that here in Cape May NJ, we have wind and rain, but nothing devastating. I haven’t heard the flooding sirens or received any warning telephone calls.

I’m very happy that we are going to have perfect fall weather today and tomorrow so we can finish winterizing the front and back yard. I also need to pull out all my plants on the front porch and decorate it for autumn (I’m a little late with doing this, but with us going to watch Katie play at her college it’s put me behind schedule). Lots to get done this weekend, so when we spend next weekend away to watch Katie play, I don’t have to worry about outside chores still needing to get done

Flights are good. Transportation is good. Parks are good.
However waiting to see if DH can go. He has an infection in his foot.
He is at the hospital getting IV antibiotics and waiting for the infections specialist doctor to come see him. We're hoping he gets the clearance to go

He is going with out the prescriptions because they wouldn't give those to him until tomorrow
He'll use the antibiotics his PC gave him and then call tomorrow or Monday and see about getting any others once we're there
