The only thing that would make me love it more is if I was floating in my pool instead of working.

I’m sitting here with Katie in the hospital as she is waiting to be taken for her colonoscopy and endoscopy (she’s having some issues that are requiring this to be done). We’ve been waiting for an hour now - I wish they’d hurry and take her - I wanted to be home by 2:00pm - we’re leaving after DH gets home from work to drive to her college (3 hours away) for her to go to Freshman orientation tomorrow morning. This late start is really messing things up today

She’s doing well - the doctor took some samples to test, but he’s feeling pretty confident they’ll come back negative for what he’s testing for. She does have bad acid reflux and a very inflamed esophagus, so she’s going to start taking medicine for that. She’s going to start keeping a food diary to figure out what is causing the acid reflux, and I’m sure stress is a contributer. She works out a lot, so lack of exercise isn’t causing it. We’ll see how it goes - hopefully the medicine will give her some relief.

They actually are visiting us right now! It barely got to be 80° today. I understand that it’s been just unbearable for them, and you, recently.

Great memory, yes Baltimore is cooler but not really that much. The humidity there is rough. Yes, I am heading back for work, but I am going to Omaha Friday and will be there 9 days. it is hot there too. I cannot seem to escape the heat.

The college visit was great - she is so excited to go there. We are very excited to - she made a fantastic decision to go to this school. It’s small - smaller than her HS (in regards to students). Her HS class was 830, and this incoming college freshman class is a little over 500 - a big difference. That’s what she wanted, so we’re happy for her.

I’m happy to had finally get some pool time this morning. I wish I didn’t have to work this afternoon so I could be in the pool all day. That darn job gets in the way all the time - LOL!
