....got no rain....folks to the west in Calif....got slammed
...folks to the east ....got more than their fair share
only take away....still the sunniest place on earth.

pool is now being filled with water..when it gets to my knees...have to vacuum....our dollar store vacuum only works when net is floating full strength in water.

We got rain. Very hard all night. I think we are about done with it now.

Back from a doctor appointment, grocery shopping and watching a movie with DH.
Today is was Cruella

.............she shows up right before they lower the flag at Disneyland...she gathers a crowd in front of the fire station ....so a good spot to sit on the sidewalk and prepare for the parade after she leaves and folks who stop and honor our nation leave......

Low humidity and the Atlantic looked beautiful this morning. DH and I enjoyed the bike ride to the Cove this morning. It’s one end of the Promenade in Cape May!

That’s a laughing gull!

I think those areas of sand have not been walked on or combed with a sand grate since Ida.

I’m about to leave with DH to go to a festival this morning. We’re going to get there when they open in hopes the crowds will be lower. Lots of crafters at this festival, and I‘m hoping to do a little Christmas shopping today.

We had one last ride on the Promenade this morning. Now it’s up to us to finish getting things organized for our cruise. We leave tomorrow, cruise on Monday!

monitoring the pool.....because we have been hit by COVID....our catalog pool company can no longer fill orders....all plastic is going to covid machines. What plastic tubing i found at RV store...is ribbed...so I don't have a good connection so it is dripping at the two connections...not that it matters.....scrubbing the primeval gunk off the bottom tore up some patches, so a leak we have...still running the apollo 13 repairs to fix the problems

no.... i have healthy knees....only one in the hood with good knees....even the fellow i hired to harvest the green gunk off the bottom of the pool had poor knees

or is it good that I watched Apollo 13 over and over.....was standard viewing in salem high schools after reading Homer's odyssey

No, we live 2 hours from the airport in normal traffic. We are allowing nearly 4 hours tomorrow, since it’s a weekend day.

I’m using the pool today for the last time in 2021.
So sad that the summer season is over
Every weekend moving forward is booked and we won’t be home. So, before it gets cold, my DH needs to take the stairs out tomorrow and then we’ll close it up next Sunday after I come home from a baby shower.
This summer went to fast - don’t like it
