so exciting. What are you going to be called?
My grandson is Alexander.....close.
I am Babci to all my grandchildren! All my grandparents were born in Poland, and came to America in 1910’s.It is so exciting
Aleksander is the Polish version of Alexander - DD & DSIL both have Polish blood in their veins (DSIL more than DD). They will be calling him Alek.
I think I’m going to be called MiMi - I like that a lot.
Since my mom and MIL are still healthy and with us (thank goodness) I want them to be the only ones called grandma since they are my DDs grandmas. I will start something new by being my DGSs MiMi.
What does your DGS call you?
I am glad you mentioned! Sounds like special fun.I am plannng a trip to the post office....awhile back they had stamps that were vegetables and I was wondering if they still had the book of stamps aviable. I would like to use the carrot stamps on the easter cards that I am sending out....as usual...my greeting cards are always one giant easter egg
Easter egg is a term used to describe a message, image, or feature hidden in a video game, film, or other, usually electronic, medium. The term used in this manner was coined around 1979 by Steve Wright, the then Director of Software Development in the Atari Consumer Division, to describe a hidden message in the Atari video game Adventure, in reference to an Easter egg hunt.
.....though I always thought it was anything hidden that was not part of the overall intent....Disneyland has several...eyeroe sign in Indy Jones, Rainbow Ridge...different than hidden mickeys...the morse code at NOS train station is an easter egg.
anyhow. my easter greeting card is an extensive easter egg feature.
My wife says I need to send it to my anthology publisher...she liked the O'henry ending and I told her that it works for this card, but as a work of fiction seems very contrived....though trueI am glad you mentioned! Sounds like special fun.
