Good morning!

I'm.....currently at work and I'm looking forward to this weekend.
I have nothing fun planned, just starting my once a year around the house chores.
This weekend is cleaning all the cabinets (kitchen and bathrooms) and banisters with Murphy Oil Soap.
It's one of my least favorite jobs to do, but I'm glad I have this free weekend so I can get it over with and behind me for another year.

We'll be starting our "spring" cleaning next week.

All of you cleaners are putting me to shame. - We just now took the tree out! (The Scouts here pick them up tomorrow morning.) The other Christmas stuff is about half down, but not boxed up yet.

I'm... more of a fall cleaner than a spring one. (I want things nice when I'm going to be cooped up in here, not when I can just escape outside.) But even then, I'm not great about it.

But gardening isn't one of them. I don't enjoy that. The only thing I do is pick the lemons, limes and pomegranates.....and then figure out what to do with them.

We do Winter cleaning at our house.
Everything needs to be done by the middle of March because that's when HS softball season begins.
Then immediately when that is over (sometimes the same weekend) is when travel begins - that goes until the 1st week of November (tournaments every weekend and practice is on certain
week days - since I'm a coach I have to be there even if my DD can't be there)
Then the holidays are here and before I know it I'm right back to January.
This year we will also have the new grandbaby coming in April, so that will add to the busyness of our schedule - but that's ok - I can hardly wait!!!!!

Wow, I knew about the lemons, not the others.

I want some colder weather and I think it was two winters ago that the bay froze so that the Cape May Lewes ferry couldn’t run. I don’t have balance to walk on snow or ice, but a good cold winter would be good for asparagus and spring bulbs. I hope it gets very cold soon. Today I noticed an Easter Lily plant popping up. It’s way to soon to begin to see new green things.

We made it to board game day with grand kids.. Almost didn't get to go. DGD was not doing her work or cooperating.....but she wanted game day, so she got it done.
It was fun. Interesting playing kid games again
