I'm..........REALLY ANNOYED AT WDW!!!!

Putting away my Smurf Tanktop....the one for sale on ebay for 26.99, with walmart tag, that I bought at Wal-mart of 7.99, while waiting for my flat tire to be fixed..two hour to ramble around the store....I sell vintage t shirts, so wanted to check pricing and came about the tank top, 3xxx with the phrase I'M FREE....and I wore it yesterday as I did my appointments of the last day of cancer center visits. Folks snapped photos and brought goodwill to all....me sleeping under the rainbow,dreaming of marshamallow mushrooms......no longer turning blue from hold my breathe every time they put the bathtub mat over my face before the 1 minture of radation. But no longer blue....trips are over, saving the tank top for the next round of visits.....because I would not be caught dead wearing that tank top in public!!!

....my DS's DVC trip has been moved back 4 times. He originally purchased in January and made his reservations for May 4. Since my other DS is a CM, he and his GF didn't bother purchasing park tickets too, figuring they were going to be maingated. However, when my DS found out that all maingating privileges were suspended until further notice, he called my DVC-member DS. Turns out, it was THE SAME DAY THAT TICKET SALES WERE CANCELLED. So, now he has a 7-day reservation and NO PARK TICKETS! After a 2 hour, 12 minute wait [plus a 42-minute conversation], the CM has the gall to tell him oh-so-glib that he can just relax at the resort for 7 days....REALLY?? His GF [of whom this was her birthday present] has an Olympic-sized built-in pool in her backyard - WHY WOULD THEY WASTE 7 DAYS AT WDW to just sit by a pool when they could do that at home?

Her uncle passed away this weekend, so this morning my DS went to the funeral. I decided to call WDW while he was out to really explain his predicament and to maybe purchase a 1-day or 2-day pass for them, since tomorrow is HIS birthday. All the CM kept saying was, "I understand your frustration BUT...." blah-blah-blah. She didn't even try to put me on hold, to "see if there was anything else she could do" but all she wanted was to hang up. I am so disappointed with how WDW has handled this entire situation. You'd think that a red flag would go up since, with My Disney Experience, EVERYTHING is linked and someone would notice that (not only him, I'm sure) there is a standing 7-day resort reservation but no tickets and that a general email could be sent to those guests to 'warn' them ahead of time that park reservations would be opening up.

I've decided to cancel our Feb. 2021 river cruise
and not to rebook for the following year.....prices went up $1000 a person.
We'll book future cruises closer to home.....one bucket list experience that will not happen
