I'm really full after going out to dinner

pulling up the 4 month old cherry tomatoe plant that has sustained us into the july month, but the heat has taken its toll, so the large root ball and wood grframe come out of the ground , so to be covered with sweet potatoe vines and desert ground flowers that spread in a beautiful fashion, brick garfen resting for January seeding.

I'm waiting for DD to come over. Her internet went out and she has to work......the kids are waiting

...cheating on my compression theraphy,, if I do something interesting like being here, I can endure the compression, the problem is that the skin at radation point is now very tender and subject to discomfort. so half use of mask while typing away...put in my 5 hours of wearing....cheating for comfort.

I am so. glad today was a holiday from work. I think I had burned myself out with all of my overtime

I’m going to work a little outside. The sun is not out now, so it’s a good time!

I will be getting ready for the family to come over later.....grilling, pool time and then fireworks

grilled burgers and pulled pork.....DH smoked a huge piece yesterday.
DD's favorite....nachos (goes back to our BIG party day when we had lots of people).
Ice cream with toppings
And whatever everyone else brings

watching hummingbirds work over the purple bloom laden Mexican petunia bush, more water, more blooms, the plant is durable, but the flowers only last 24 hours, trumpet in shape, bush is waist height.....helping wife bring in ingredients for 4th festival spread for our card game down the street this late afternoon, 6 of us, confident covid free....because all we do is go to medical facilities. ....and the grocery store that confirmed last night on news that it had 10 employees with covid,,,,,,didn't say which store, ours or downtown urban community....have not see one employee for awhile...hmmmm.

I'm going to relax and watch some TV, then after lunch, get the rest of the things ready

Worked in garden this morning, and Tom was out working on pond. Relaxing now, watching TV, Tom going to bring home ice cream, and we’ll stay inside for rest of day.
