Yep....we went 26 years in a rural place and had no trick or treaters..........couldn't even see our house from the street, but I decorated anyway.
Drove my kids into town to go trick or treat.
Great treat here to have our door bell ring.

I always decorate for Christmas too...........whether we will be here much or not.
We leave Jan. 2, so this year have to get everything down and put away fast.

I didn't realize that you lived in such a rural place like we did Nancy! I would decorate for nieces and nephews and big time if we were hosting Christmas for my family. The years we went to Disney right before Christmas were hard because I hated to decorate and not see it.

This year I'm thinking I'll put up a tree and a few outside decorations since we leave around Christmas day and return around New Year's.

I am home in NJ from the DVC Member Cruise out of NYC.

I'm waiting for the repairman. Our new microwave oven door has become very hard to open; takes multiple pushes on button to release the door.

The cruise was fun. The candy exchange and pin exchange were successful, and I met many new Disboard friends. One couple at my table are going to be on the EBPC cruise Tom and I are going on next year. We'll ask to be table mates then too!

I'm almost addicted to watching the hurricane news; just so scary to think of the massive winds and rain heading that way!

We are finally getting cold weather; freeze warnings and lots of snow on Pikes Peak.

I have to stop DISing soon to get ready for our company. We did get several pictures up but our two-story family room wall is so difficult to figure out which pictures would look good there. We already have one of those huge iron wall clocks up (came with the house). I think it should probably come down.

The gals I exchanged with are from California, & I knew they were going to give Disneyland themed pins. I knew their " likes" as well as one from this year's Food and Wine!
