I'm heading out to a doctor's appointment and then back to do laundry for our short trip tomorrow to see the Aspen leaves in the high mountains and walking in Glenwood Canyon.

Sounds wonderful! One year Tom worked in Colorado and we went to Rocky Mountain NP to see the elk rutting.
Patricia and I are in NYC, just hanging out. Can see the Hudson River from our room. Well, a sliver of the river!

Family dinner tonight.
Pool season is over. Water is too cold although temps are still too warm.
So.....only see the family once a week now. Usually. Sometimes we do things on weekends and we do have DGD every other weekend..............but not for a long time now. DIL's parents will be here this weekend, so no Aria for us

Big changes in your routine Nancy...can't imagine it too cool for swimming. It's still warm here in the Springs; in fact pretty hot the last few days!

We just got back from 2 days viewing the beautiful Aspen trees and Glenwood Canyon. Now I have hundreds of pictures to process...

It's not cool by a long shot, mid 90s still, but nights are in the 70s now, which means the pool water is getting too cold to go in.
We don't heat our pools here.

I've got chicken in the crock pot......went to a movie, out to lunch, grocery shopping and a run to storage to get the Halloween decorations out.

oh, I decorate even when there were no children around and we lived way out in the sticks. I love to have decorations.

I have put up a few Halloween decorations outside since we live in a big Trick or Treat neighborhood (unlike the last 30 years where we never got kids coming around).

I have to decide how much to put up for CHristmas since we'll be gone most of the holidays.
