I'm.........

hmmmm....I wonder if they are using a hand held device rather than the computer they used on me as I had no lead, just a mask to keep my head in one place is how my 15 min procedure went
An instrument like a dentist x-ray machine is involved.

My actual procedure is very short. The prep is longer. I forget the actual time, my simulation was about a month ago.

cautiously as in recidivism or failure to follow medical plan? my son refuses meds and behavior has high recidivism
He started out that way. It took 2 years for my son to realize that not taking his meds might hurt him but not end his life. He was stable for about 9 years but he gained so much weight he started having breakthrough seizures. It took 3 months to get his meds right but the neurologist's office didn't report his seizures to PA until after the meds worked which sent him into anger mode. He had a psychotic break in February which took 10 days for him to fully emerge. We didn't trust his return to rationality at first but he's been stable and working for the last 8/9 weeks. In 3 weeks PA should return his DL as he has continued to be seizure free. He'll return to the neurologist for documentation to submit to PA in 2 weeks. Then - hopefully - we can return to enjoying our retirement.

weight is also an issue for my son....though he walks and in good weather several times a day....interesting about "end of life" my son has the philosophy that meds are the end of life...and I understand that indeed he is in a "fog bubble" that he can't seem to burst through...because of the meds.....5 months in jail scared him and he has been following the portocols of the house in which is a court appointed resident .he turns 27 in May and will be there for that and mental health court date Oregon is very progressive when it comes to mental health....45 days I have to help him find meaning in his bubble, then back to Arizonia and then back in August as he nears his end of parole....every phone call is different so I fear the recidivism

Yes, the rollercoaster doesn't seem to stop. Since his DL is still revoked we've been taking turns driving him into work. I picked him up last night and he seemed fine. Then I noticed things started to bother him. By the time we made it home he was 'off'. I think from now on I have to keep a conversation going or he gets 'lost' in the fact that he can't drive himself yet and the anger returns. One of the side effects of a new medication is anger. It's unsettling. Usually when he has one of these episodes he misses work so we'll see what happens today.

I hope everything goes well for your son :wizard:

I’m soooooo….. glad that Katie’s game was canceled today (thunderstorms). She needs a physical and mental break. Her knee is still throbbing, she has a back issue that the Chiropractor I work for is trying to help her with and she found out today she needs a colonoscopy and endoscopy done, which is a lot for an 18yr old to hear. Luckily she’s been with me throughout all my colonoscopies, so there’s no fear of the unknown, but it’s still upsetting for her. She just can’t catch a break - every time she turns a corner something else is wrong. Luckily, she can wait until June to do the procedures so it doesn’t interrupt school or her season.
