we have a 10:25 ADR at donald's safari breakfast at the tusker house restaurant in AK this december. the late breakfast time is fine with me as far as eating because we HATE waking up early on vacation. plus i figure this will give us a chance to get some fastpasses to EE and maybe even ride the safari beforehand. i do have some concerns though. i know they take your picture or whatever first. so i'm thinking that will mean we won't actually get SAT at 10:25, but more like 10:35. i'm assuming they start the lunch service at 11:00. so i'm worried that maybe our dining and character experience will be rushed. has anyone reading this ever had a late ADR for this breakfast? if so, was the buffet fully stocked at that time? were the characters still coming out throughout your meal?

thanks in advance! :goodvibes

We were there during Christmas and had a 10:20 ADR. It was great. There was lots of food, we were not rushed and we saw the characters several times. It was the perfect time to go.

I don't think lunch starts at 11 at least it didn't when we were there because we were there after that time and lunch items were not out and lunch guests were not being seated.

I also don't think lunch would start until 12. :-)

We had a late seating in December (10:30 ish) and we were not the least bit rushed. We did the photo (which was REALLY quick) and we were seated pretty close to our ADR time. We had a party of 10.

The buffet was fully stocked with breakfast foods, and those were replenished during the time between my first plate and my second plate. Closer to 11 AM our waitress said they were putting out lunch items and we were welcome to stay and try those if we wanted to, but we were all stuffed.

The characters were good - we saw all 4 of them. It was a nice experience. We're going back next month. :)

We did have some problems there a few years ago. We have never been seated in less than 20 minutes (after our ADR time) at any character breakfast. There was plenty of food available, but only on one side of the buffet line. We had to ask our waitress to help us track down one of the characters because they were on their "last round" and somehow missed our table.

That would have been the previous character breakfast called Donald's Breakfastaurus. It ended last year prior to the Tusker House breakfast opening.

I had a 10:30 ressie there. The food was still good, the characters came by at least 2 times each, and I loved the celebration there!
