Oh my gosh. Unbelievable yard signs all over my town, along with the McCain-Palin posters. As a woman, or actually as a human, I am offended. What was the Republican party thinking?? Any doubt in my mind has been erased.

Those are locally produced, not distributed by the Republican party.

No, the ones I saw were the same size as all the other yard signs. Maybe other groups took the idea from the big one. I was horrified.

I haven't seen the signs but I saw the t-shirt in a rally pic and it made me laugh. Guess I'm not a progressive enough chick to be offended by it.

well McCain sells crap through about 4 different stores on his website. I don't see a sign like that, but I'm not going to look through it all. My guess is they're coming from an independent distributor and the people who put them out there think they're funny.

I can see why some people object, but I think they're kind of funny myself.

What about those breast cancer t-shirts that say "Save The ****ies!"

One of my neighbors has 'Save the Tatas' in bright pink across her car's back window. I think the car belongs to their teenage daughter, but it definitely gets a second look from everyone who drives by!

I caught a bit of something on a tv show last night about Todd Palin & his popularity. One lady said something like "can't wait for him to be First Dude". She wasn't referring to his current position in Alaska. I looked at DH & asked, "they do realize Sarah is the VICE Presidential candidate, right?".

That's the thing. I am about as non progressive, conservative, not a feminist as they come. And I was shocked. Jaw dropping shocked.

I don't personally like the sign, but I'm also not offended.

It appears the McCain camp doesn't produce the sign anyway, so I fail to see the problem.

I do however think the pink elephants are adorable, so take my comment for what it's worth.

It reminds me of OS who wear pins saying "I'm voting for THAT one". It's taking what some would look at as a negative, and giving it a positive spin from their perspective.

lets just hope she was planning ahead for 2012... when the VP would run for president(most likely).
If she was confused or thinking mccain would not finish his term that would be bad..
