OH WELL,

I just called DVC, and mailing back my papers for an add-on at HH.

I was going to do a 30pt. add on.
I asked my guide when he called if I could get MB? Due to my use year I wouldn't be using the points for a couple of years.....so why not take the $15.00 MB at HH.

I WAS TOLD that you needed to do at least a 100point add on to qualify!!
THANKS, to this board I found out that you only needed to do a 50 point add on to qualify for MB.
I called DVC, and now the 50 points is not available anymore, but they WERE when I spoke w/ my guide.
That really UPSET me, because I would of added on 50 points... it makes sense to add on 50 points at $69.00 instead of 30 points at $84.00...
I explained that I was given the wrong information, but they really didn't care...
So I'm turning down the add on....My misfortune will make someone else who has a DEC. use year happy...
Good luck to the next person in line...I have a real bad taste in my mouth right now at DVC!!!
I was going to do a small add on at Beach Club next week, but now I may wait for a re-sale....Just mad!!!

I thought it was 100 points minimum for MB, I just got a card for BCV. I just checked the DVC Member site and it says 100. Is HH less?

I think you might be confused. The minimum add-on is 25 points, the mimimum to finance is 50 points, and the minimum for MB is 100 points. I was just told this a couple of weeks ago, when I did my add-on of 50 points at VWL.

We have done 3 separate add-ons at VB in the past year of 50-60-90 pts, and we have gotten the MB's of $15 off with each one of our add-ons. We didn't finance them though.

MB minimum is 100 for BCV and VWL (@$10 per point) and is 50 points for VB and HH (@$15 per point).

HH has reportedly sold out.

Talk to a supervisor and go on the wait list. I would think in this situation they will either do the MB for the 30 points or put you at the head of the list for a 50 points add on using MB. I see why you're upset but don't let it work against you. Good luck.

We are sold out and no more points available....so either pay $84.00 or send the papers back...
I spoke w/ a DVC supv. from the quality...something? dept.

I'm just out....I guess it was the principle of the deal that soured me. That is why I just refused to pay the $84.00 and walk away.

I just think that DVC could do more for there clients....We get no perks being members. OH well, see here I go again!!!
I'll just shut up....for now!!!

I'd still go on the wait list for 50 points if you want to add on there. What use year are you looking at, I may have a lead or 2.
