The soups are amazing....See if they have the chicken pepper pot....seriously good.
Watermelon Rind Salad....OMG...sounds nasty....try it....As for that note...Try EVERYTHING!!! My mom does not like Spicy and loves Boma.....be adventurous...

Yachtman Steakhouse...Dinner.....Almost the best steaks in the world (WDW)

50's Prime Time..Lunch.......Great food.....tell mom I said hi.

Hoop de Doo....fun for thr entire family.....Has not changed since it opened.

Boma........dinner.....my favorite in the hole world......I remember talking to one of the chefs about all the money his father spent on culinary school and he is cooking at Boma. He loves his job.

My family, including my Mom, MIL, FIL, DH, DD and myself would all tell you that Biergarten is awesome! It is a family favorite. We really like Boma too. Some people give Mama Melrose bad reviews, but we have eaten there the last 3 trips and have enjoyed it each time. We haven't found any place in DHS that we like better. Have a great trip!

Biergarten is so fun as well as the food being good especially for a buffet
Kouzzina- Haven't been there since it was Spoodles but having bfast there in March!
Liberty Tree Tavern is great too!
Yachtman Steakhous- The beast steak I ever had was here it was the rib-eye I think.
5o's Prime Time is my DSs favorite of all time and always gets the pot roast plus it's just a fun atmosphere.
The Hoop Dee Doo Revue is so fun but the food is just ok.
Boma- We eat a dinner here every trip!
Yak n Yeti- I loved this place and they have the best dessert, Cream cheese wontons. Yummy!

Served us the wrong (expensive!) appetizer and even though they realized it and brought us a half order of the correct item for free, they charged us for the wrong one! We ate parts of it trying to figure out how it could be what we ordered..... Manager refused to take it off. Unreal. meat was overdone, nothing was exceptional. Many have been commenting in the negative lately so I dont' know whats happened there.[/COLOR]

Our hands-down favs are Cali Grille and 'Ohanas. I would definitely take kids to 'Ohana as the food is diverse enough for them and they do a little luau type thing with the kids that is adorable during the meal. Personally think Cali is a place that should be reserved for when children are older....say 12ish....but that is just my opinion. Hope you have an amazing time! We'll be there the 5th-12th of November! Cannot wait to get down there!!!!!!

I can only comment on a few, but here goes...

Mama Melrose - went for dinner, not spectacular, but good. DH got the saugage and pepper pasta and liked it; I got a flatbread pizza and it was pretty good. The kids pizza and pasta meals were good. Tiramisu was delicious! Our server was a bit of a ditz... she forgot about us a few times.

Chef Mickey's - standard breakfast buffet food - the character interaction was great when we were there.

Whispering Canyon Cafe - we loved it! I've seen it get some bad reviews, but we thought it was great. The milkshakes are AWESOME, as is the canyon skillet. The kids had a blast here. A friend of mine celebrated his DD's 9th birthday there and they treated her great - made the whole restaurant sing to her! If you've never been to Wilderness Lodge, take some time to explore - it is beautiful.

Biergarten.....lunch Food was OK,Entertainment fun, but our table mates were anti-beer., which made for not fun

Kouzzina...dinner we didn't care for food (over-salted) and service was terrible

Liberty Tree Tavern...lunch we liked lunch here

Yachtman Steakhous...Dinner just ate here 9/2010...not worth the money or the "signature" status.

5o's Prime Time..Lunch haven't tried it yet

Mama Melrose...Dinner.....Fantasmic Really like the food, slow service 2 out of 3 times we've done the Fantasmic package here

Hoop de Doo....haven't done this yet

Sanaa...lunch interesting food, good service, cool decor & great view if animals are out

Boma..dinner absolutely did not care for this at dinner at all. Loved breakfast there, though

Yak n Yeti...lunch good food, great decor, good service

Boma..dinner - Overrated in our opinion and most won't agree. Buffet with very different food.
