Looking for inexpensive offsite for my DD and I, but it's imperative there is a decent, frequent shuttle. Any good ideas? Good pool is a plus.

Any of my suggestions wouldn't have a "frequent" shuttle. I think you might have a problem with this on offsite hotels that are inexpensive.

Very few hotels in Orlando offer shuttles, fewer are free and even fewer are very frequent - as in I've never heard of one regardless of price.

I guess I don't need "frequent", but I've heard of them that you have to reserve or only go once in the morning and once at night kind of thing.

There is no such animal, I'm afraid. Some have a few trips in the morning, and a few at night, but still sparse. Bonnet Creek might have one of the better schedules; half-hourly to hourly, but with a big gap mid-day. If you won't have (or aren't willing to rent) a car, your best bet really is a Value resort onsite.

Maybe one of the hotels within walking distance of DTD- I think they have shuttles, and you could supplement with Disney buses and walk from DTD if you needed to. I'm thinking of Holiday Inn, Hilton, Doubletree, Royal Plaza, Wyndham, Buena Vista Palace, or Best Western. The prices range from affordable up to expensive, but they are all very close to DTD.

Here's a great deal ($79 per night for three of the Downtown Disney hotels) // Shuttles every 30 minutes for the Disney parks for some of these -- ask to make sure if you are interested in one of these. // This was posted on the Travelzoo website. I get their newsletter too. // There is another deal for $39 per night and it looks like that one has shuttles to Universal and Sea World, and for a price of $16 pp Disney. It's the Rosen Inn across from Wet and Wild on I drive.

The Radison gets the best reviews of the three offered for the $79 price.
