If we are only doing one character meal and my kids won't be able to ride ToT or Splash mt and things like that....is it evem worth getting pp+....I'll have my dig camera??

RSR takes pics too. For us it was so easy to stop, flash our pass and get several shots of the whole family. We took our camera too and have been to DL several times. But there were so many photographers at each park that we got lots of great family shots..
