I'm Starting To Freak Out Again ***UPDATE...It's all better now***

See the count down to my trip??? It's not that far away but I still don't have a place to stay!!! Why did they have to shut down Carribean Beach now? I love that place and I want to stay there! You should hear me, I sound like a little two-year-old. I don't want to stay at any other moderate resort, I WANT TO STAY AT CARIBIAN BEACH!!! Couldn't they just save one room for me???

On the brighter side IF we get upgraded I'm sure that would be wonderful, but only if I get to stay at the Poly. I've never stayed there before but DH has and he's always talking about how great it is. But we STILL haven't heard anything yet and it's driving me crazy still. I want to be a good girl and just sit tight but that count down clock just keeps counting down and the lower it gets the more nervous I get.

Relax! They'd never, ever downgrade a guest.

At worst, you'll be in Riverside or CSR. At best, the Poly (what you want--I don't blame you) or the WL or AKL.

We did 8 nights at the WL in June. Trust me, if you wind up there, you'll be completely thrilled with it.

Everyone else snatching up the rooms is a good thing. The Mods will go before the deluxes and your chances of an upgrade will increase.

As I've said before, you and I are in the same boat. While I am suprised at how nervous I am about this (who'd have thought one could care so much about a simple vacation), I am still thinking the odds are this will all have a happy ending. I really, really wanted to stay at the CBR, but I believe Disney will do its best to resolve the situation.

Of this much I am sure. We will not be downgraded or canceled. We will get another mod or perhaps an upgrade. Hang in there just a little bit longer. You should be hearing from them soon. I am going to check on the situation with my travel agent in a few minutes. If I find out anything, I'll let you know.

Standard View Wilderness Lodge or Animal Kingdom Lodge of $5 less per night.
Animal Kingdom Savana View for $10 more per night (we took this one)

Everything is going to be OK, Aurora. I have not heard of a single person being unhappy with what they were offered. Disney really came through on this.

Good for you! I HOPE I hear soon. I wonder why they didn't offer you Polly? Did you ask for it? I'd really love to stay right next to the monorail. It'd be really convient for me having two kids with us and all, you know what I mean. OH, I HOPE I HEAR SOMETHING SOON!!!

Princess Aurora, I can imagine how you would be upset. No one likes their vacation plans to be up in the air, particularly when you have been planning for so long. But I'm sure Disney will take care of you, they are known for that.
