I'm so proud of DD10!!!!

I just got her terranova test results- this is the standard nationwide test given to 5th graders for Math, Reading and Lanuage. The results are based on nationwide percentiles. She is in the 93rd percentile in reading, 77th in language, and 98th in math! Can anyone tell me if this is as big a deal as I think it is?Guess I'm going to have to take her to WDW now....

if she's in the 93rd percentile, it means that only 7% of the kids taking the test scored better than she did. it means she did very well.

I've scored in the 99 percentile for Math last year for FCAT (assuming this is standardized testing for the state), so I think I deserved trips to Orlando for that. Oh well. see how I did this year (last year of the testing. whoop whoop!). Maybe I'll be taken to Universal..despite already going there once a week.......

Congrats for your DD!!!! I'm sure she's thrilled that she did so well. I've always been excited to see whenever I do well on these tests, despite hating taking them.
