Nice that you were able to get a direct flight home. Ours is almost direct a short stop and change of planes in Denver-35 mins.

What time do you leave Seattle? We did the early am last year, we are trying an overnight this year.

We try to fly redeyes whenever possible for the flight(s) going to wherever we're vacationing - just our preference We're leaving at about 10:30pm and arriving at MCO at about 9:20am (with a stopover). I really wish that Alaska had brought back their redeye direct flight (was great, left at about 11am and arrived at MCO at 7:30am) - but no dice on that one

We find flying overnight going to our destination perfect for our family - everyone (except me lol) can sleep on planes no problem, so while we're getting to our vacation, we're "spending" our sleep time on travel, not our awake time kwim? It works for us, but I know it doesn't work for everyone! I hope you enjoy it

We just got home a few days ago. We flew United out of Seattle for $309 pp which included taxes. We did connect in Chicago heading down and Denver heading back.

We had a wonderful time at WDW. Our drive back from Seattle was good until we hit the border and then we had torrential rain, followed by fog on the Coquihalla and then some snow flurries. The snow finally stopped about 1/2 hr before we hit Kamloops. Oh yea, we were driving in the dark from Bellingham to Kamloops!! But, it was well worth it.
