I'm so excited!! Family Magic Tour!!

I'm so excited!!! After calling several times and hearing they were booked up, I called and got in for the Family Magic Tour for one of the mornings we are there!!!

I think my DS5 and DD3 are going to LOVE it!!! Especially meeting a character and seeing Daddy doing silly stuff too!! The whole trip is a surprise (so far) and I think I will keep the Scavenger hunt part a surprise too... maybe put a letter/invitation under the tree in the morning ?? I don't know, I'm just so excited!

Anyone have good stories about the Family Magic Tour?

We did the family magic tour a few years ago and had a GREAT time! I kept it a surprise until we got to the meeting place where our tour guide told the kids we were going on a tour of all the trash cans in the park. They pretended to be excited, but were thrilled when she pulled out the message that led us on a hunt. I recorded a lot of the tour, and it's so much fun to go back and watch everyone doing silly things.

Do you stay in a group during the Scavenger hunt part or break off on your own?

I've not done it before, but from what I've read, you all stay together in a small group.. maybe 10-15 people total. The whole group is lead by a CM.

Cool - congrats on the cancellation snag.

I have been trying to get one for our trip as well. We booked it only a month in advance (last minute teacher conference days!) and nothing is available. I I am hoping for a cancellation as well.

reservations are made by calling -1-407-WDW-TOUR. (Naturally!)

The Family Magic Tour is at the MK; and it costs $25 per person. Without giving away all the fun, (Hey, posters, don't tell everything!) it's basically a tour around the MK while having lots of fun. Silly things happen, even some magical things. Adults act like children, and children, well.... enjoy the tour. It's a blast, lots of fun and a surprise.

We all enjoyed the FMT but DH LOVED it! Its funny because he was the one I wasn't sure would like it. The kids enjoyed meeting Wendy but I was a little disappointed because usually Peter Pan comes to and he wasn't able to that day. Glad I didn't give anything away so the kids never knew what they were missing.

I booked our tour and the dolphin thing for dh, so now all I have to do is wait till the end of Oct to do cindy's, princess tea and birthday magic cruise

We just did this last Sunday!! It was fantastic!
