As you may be able to tell from my title, I'm just a little bit excited to be visiting WDW this year ;).

Let me introduce myself. My name is Nicola, I'm 26 and for as long as I can remember I've wanted to go to Disney. So I'm beyond excited that our trip is so close now!

Who am I dragging along with me? My mum, and my 2 little cousins (9 and 6).

How did this trip come about? Well like I said I've wanted to go to Disney (not just Disney, but Disney World in Florida), for as long as I can remember! And every year that passed was another year I hadn't been. So early last year I thought I'm going to have to get the ball rolling, I face timed my cousin in Ireland (she grew up here in England, but moved to Ireland 9years ago. We were born 10 days apart and were really close growing up and still are now) and asked could I take her eldest and she said yes! Woohoo. So at the moment it's me and Madison (9yr old) going for 12 nights.
Then I told my mum about our plans and she was umming and ahhing about coming and tried to talk me into changing it to Disney Land Paris (which I wasn't having any of! It's Florida or nothing at all mother ;) ), and then she decided she was definitely coming as well. So now we have me, Madison and my mum.
THEN on face time to my cousin again (we FaceTime every day lol) and she says "awww Tadgh will be so gutted he's not going"... Yeah you guessed it, we're up to 4 ppl going to Disney now!

A little about the kids..
Madison is 9 and is a bit..umm how can I put this..a bit of a diva ;). She is completely lovely but I think she's watched too much Hannah Montana etc and can be overly dramatic. She is really polite and generally a good kid. She loves all things American and can often be heard speaking in an American accent lol.
Tadgh (an Irish name pronounced Ty-gh..hmm that's hard to write down) is 6 and gorgeous! He's a bit of a mummy's boy so I'm a bit worried he gets homesick (I think he should be ok though as he'll have Madison with him). He can be shy when you first meet him but soon turns into a nutter once he's warmed up to you.

So yeah it was decided that we would go to Disney, but of course I couldn't book yet as the 2014 rates with FD and the free gift card weren't out. We finally booked in May for 12 nights at Coronado Springs Resort the 17-29th August, with free dining and $200 gift card.

So yea that's it! I'm sure I'll keep posting on here when I have no one else to talk Disney with (my mum just doesn't 'get it' lol). I'll leave you with some photos..

Madison (before this photo she'd actually said "pretend I'm an American girl going to high school"... Told she she's American mad lol:

So I woke up at 4.45am this morning in a panic that we'd been to Disney and were now home and hadn't been to all of our ADRs or the Fireworks cruise! I was so gutted until I realised it had been a dream.
I guess that's what I get for writing the PTR so late last night lol..

I can't remember the exact date I was able to make my ADRs, but I do remember it was half term (I work in a school) so I remember thinking that I could wake up at 5am and then I'd be able to go back to sleep after doing them.
I managed to get all of the ones that I wanted which I was very happy about. However my CRT breakfast (I choose breakfast so we could get in before park opening) at 8.10am is now on a day with EMH making the park open to the public at 8am! So I'm looking for an opening on the 20th August, so far to no avail :(

Also I was desperate to do the desert party, but for some reason I was under the impression that you couldn't book until a few months out...WRONG! By the time I realised I could book, all the dates were booked solid.
However to make it up, we now have the Pirates and Pals fireworks cruise booked instead, so that takes away the sting a little bit ;).

Now at the 60 day mark I'll be up at the crack of dawn ready and raring to get an Anna and Elsa FP!! Lol.

Following along!

I've had nightmares about missing ADRs too- I feel so crazy when I wake up, and definitely quite relieved!

You are going to have so much fun I am going in August too and taking our six year old niece - so excited! x

I thought I'd write down my plans here (all subject to change lol) for when we're at Disney:

Monday 18th August:
We will be getting in late the night before so I thought this morning we would just explore the resort and swim (these kids love to swim! They'd probably spend the whole holiday in the pool if I let them!). Do a QS lunch at the resort and then go to Epcot about 1.30/2. Do our FP, and we then have a Garden Grill reservation at 4.25. The initial plan was to stay for illuminations but we might be tired by 9pm, so if we're tired we'll just go back to the resort and get an early night,

Tuesday 19th:
Get to Animal Kingdom for rope drop. Try and do the safari first thing and watch the Nemo show. We have a lunch reservation at Tusker House at 12pm. So excited for these character meals!
We'll then go back to the resort for pool/nap and then go to MK for the evening where we will have a QS dinner and use our FP and finish the evening watching the Electrical parade and wishes.

Wednesday 20th:
Magic Kingdom at rope drop. Do attractions and then lunch at 12pm at Crystal Palace! Do FP and then go back to the resort for a break. If we're not too tired that evening (which I'm guessing we will be lol), we will go to Epcot to watch Illuminations (because I'm guessing we wont have seen them on the 18th due to being tired the first day).
If we are too tired, we will stay at the resort and do the movie night and the marshmallow which I'm sure the kids will love.

Thursday 21st:
We have an O'hana reservation this morning at 9.40am, so we will do that and then go to Epcot and spend as long as we can there before coming back to the resort and having some pool time! We will definitely do movie night this night!

Friday 22nd:
Ok I have a dilemma here.. I have a Hollywood and Vine breakfast AND lunch booked for this day (breakfast is 10.10am and lunch is 12.20pm), I'm not sure which one to keep? We will be there the full day (staying to watch a fantasmic at 8.30), so I'm not sure if lunch may be a better idea so we're not there too long? Hmm input please?
We then have a reservation at 50s Prime Time at 5.35pm. Then Fantasmic at 8.30.

Saturday 23rd:
We will get to Typhoon Lagoon for 10am opening and leave about 1.30pm. Head back to the resort to change and then go to the AK where it should hopefully be a bit quieter. We'll use our 3 FP and then watch the Lion King show (which I'm very excited about! I'm going to see the show in Sunderland in October so it'll be nice to still have a little bit of Disney left to look forward to once I'm home). We. Will have dinner at the resort this evening.

Sunday 24th:
HS at rope drop and maybe do the Jedi training for the kids (going to show them a video of it on YouTube and ask them if they'd like to do it. Tadgh can get a bit shy so not sure that he would). We'll then do rides and then have lunch at Sci-Fi Diner at 12.30pm. Go back tot her resort for a swim/nap and then if we STILl haven't seen illuminations, go to Epcot to watch them (and if we have seen them, we might still go ).

Monday 25th:
Got to Blizzard Beach for 10am and spend the day there. Head back to the resort around 4 and then go to DTD to shop (and collect the $200 gifts card...can't be forgetting about that lol). We then have a T -Rex reservation at 7.30 which I'm excited about because I know Tadgh will love the dinosaurs!

Tuesday 26th:
Sleep in and then go to The Contemporary for an 11.20 brunch at Chef Mickeys! We'll then go to MK and use our FP and watch the 3pm parade (is it worth using a FP for this?). We'll then go back to The Contemporary for 7.30 for the Pirates and Pals fireworks cruise.

Wednesday 27th:
Do rope drop at Epcot, then have lunch at Via Napoli at 12.45pm. Back to the resort for pool/nap and probably do movie night again!

Thursday 28th:
We have a reservation for CRT at 8.10am (park was opening at 9am when I booked it, but it's now been changed to open at 8m . Hoping we will still make it onto Main Street before the crowds..) we will stay and do our 3 FP and hopefully book a FP for wishes that night as our 4th if there's any left. We'll probably head back to the resort around 1 or 2 and swim/nap and then hopefully head back to MK that night to watch Wishes for the last time!

Friday 29th:
Time to go home

Thats the plan anyway! We will see how it works out lol, I'm sure things will be changed along the way

69 days today!! Only 9 days until I can make our FP+ selections :D
yay I made mine yesterday, I found it easy but boring.
To be honest I hadn't planned anything, I just went on and booked them. I found if people want to do different rides, it was easier to all book the same and then change after.

Not long to go

Your plans look great!!! As for your HS day (the 22nd), I think I would go with Lunch plans and not breakfast, but that's just my opinion. I think if you would do both, you wouldn't be hungry for lunch. As for your upcoming 60 day mark --- that's sooooo exciting!!! I'm at day 92 so I have a ways to go, but I'm already planning, changing my mind and planning again! Whoooo Hooo! :cool1:

Yeah I can imagine it gets a little bit repetitive lol. The only ones I really am eager to get are Anna and Elsa (and so are the rest of the world by the sounds of it lol) and The 7 Dwarves Mine Train. I'm not worried about the availability of the rest really, as long as I get those 2 booked :)

Yeah I couldn't decide whether to do breakfast OR lunch at H&V. I've still got both booked and then I've got 50s Prime Time booked for dinner at 5.35pm..so maybe lunch will be a better option because we might find it hard to go from breakfast to dinner with no lunch (tho technically the breakfast would be a brunch!) agh I'm giving myself a headache thinking about it lol

Agh I'm a bit gutted! Friday 22nd we are doing HS all day and ending with Fatasmic. I'd originally made a fantasmic dining package at H&V, but then later thought it was a waste and we'd just FP it instead.,so I cancelled it.
Now though I've just noticed Fantasmic is in. Tier 1 at HS so we won't be able to get FP for toy story or r&r at all that day and we won't be able to ride them early because we're not planning on getting to the park until about 10.30.
Of course, now I go to check for another dining package ADR there is none..boooo! First world problems I know lol

Loving all your plans 62 days till we go :) we fly out on 14th August for two weeks staying offsite. I'm counting down everyday DH and I discuss it over breakfast how many days then I text my parents and then my sister and her family with the countdown! Your plans sound fantastic x

Also meant to say yes I have been before it is my 4th visit but my nieces first visit to Florida. We all went to DLP four years ago but she can't remember that
