I'm so confused...

Ok, we normally go on a package so I don't normally have all these questions swimming around in my little brain. If somone could pleeeeeease help me, I would be forever thankful!

We are going to the Poly this May 6th for 9 nights.

I would of course prefer not to pay rack rates - duh...

I would love to take advantage of any AP room only discounts that might (keeping fingers crossed) be released.

BUT incase they are not released, HOW do I book the room right now so at least I have a room?

Do I make a room only reservation OR do I make a package reservation? Can I switch either of these if a AP rate is released or can I just cancel either of these if an AP room rate is released? If I make a room only reservation, I assume I would hold off on purchasing any tickets incase I have to purchase an AP later?

Sorry for the rambling, but I think I just *need* someone to tell me what to do so I can stop going thru all the mess that's in my head!

I believe you have to have a room only resveration to apply an AP code to.

Makes sense. I actually just got finished making a package ressie, so if any AP codes come out, maybe I can just try to book the room and then cancel the package?

Either way, I'm doing the happy dance (as long as I don't think too hard about the 8 grand I'll be dropping ) cause I'm goin to Disney World in 87 days!

Can anyone tell me how CM room discounts work? We have a friend who is a CM at WDW and I'm wondering if something can be worked out?
