Oh so confused about memory maker? Isn't it just like the photo pass? Or is it different ... I just don't get it

Memory Maker is just a new version of the PhotoPass+ you might be familiar with.

Buying Memory Maker gives you access to all the photos of you and your travel companions taken by PhotoPass photographers around the parks, plus attraction photos, and also your character meal photos. At the end of your trip, you can edit (make black and white, for example), decorate (add borders or character signatures, etc), and finally, download all your photos. You do NOT get a cd with Memory Maker - you download your photos directly from their site. You can then print them however, whenever, and wherever you want. You can also share them on social media sites and such. You can even burn them to your own disc at home, if that's your preferred storage for photos.

I hope that explanation helps...

And I should add, if you buy it in advance (more than 3 days before your vacation begins, I believe), you get a discounted price. Same as with PhotoPass+ in previous years...

Right now, it's $149 in advance, $199 full price if you buy it in the World.

For an extra $30, you can order the CD. It comes with all of your photos (at least, all the ones in your account when they process your order) and a CD of stock photos.

Once in the parks: Memory Maker is photopass

When it comes to ordering it, it confused me a little bit. Order prints/stuff after you've had them taken, is the same as regular "photopass"

If you want to pre order the "cd", it will include all your pictures taken at icons/character meets AND included character meals & rides (IE, what "photopass plus" was) there is only 1 option for pre ordering now, still cheaper than ordering everything (if you include meals & rides) after.

For an extra $30, you can order the CD. It comes with all of your photos (at least, all the ones in your account when they process your order) and a CD of stock photos.

I would like more information about this. I understand how MM works, but I was wondering about the stock photos you use to be able to get? If I opt for the option of ordering the CD, where do I do that? Would that be from the website after all the photos are taken or should that option also be purchased prior to the trip when I purchase the MM?
