I'm SO bummed!! AAA package/fastpasses

I'm so bummed! I thought I was being proactive when I bought my 5 days for 3 passes from disneyland.com last month. I thought it was a good deal and was happy until yesterday when my husband brought home the AAA Disneyland brochure. For just $4 more per person, we could have gotten:

FREE parking (save us $40)
$10 per person ($50) in game cards at ESPN Zone
One free park breakfast per person, and Most Importantly,

Unlimited Fastpasses.

I'm telling everyone this so they don't make the mistake I did. I had heard AAA packages included the fastpasses, but figured a package meant air and/or at least hotel. I didn't realize I could just buy the passes as a "package". (I would have figured I could buy passes where you buy regular amusement park passes at AAA, but wouldn't have expected them to include all the extras).

Now I don't know what to do. Obviously these passes aren't refundable. But I really want the unlimited fastpasses. Yes we know how they work, and we really would use them. This is a one time trip to California - we will most likely never go again (at least not with kids), and probably won't go back to WDW again either so I'm wondering what the options are.

Should I try to sell my passes on Ebay (probably taking a $100-$150 loss) in order to buy the AAA ones and get the unlimited fastpasses. I'd probably come out even with the parking, breakfast, and ESPN stuff (with 3 boys we could definitely use them).

Are the unlimited fastpasses worth it? I'd read about them & was just writing them off as something that didn't apply to me and really wouldn't affect me too much with the limited number of people doing it. But now that I know that I can do it, I WANT TO! I will be upset the whole time at the parks when I see anyone else using one!

Any advice?!

I don't know where you got your ParkHoppers from, but I know at WDW that most passes are upgradeable. It would be worth a call to check with DL Guest Services. Good luck & let me know what they say!

AAA checked into this for us. They called Disneyland who basically told them that we were stuck and they could do nothing with our tickets (except use them!) I tried myself to call 2 different ticketing/guest service numbers and spoke to 2 different people, both of whom hadn't heard of any of this. They both insisted the only way you could get this type of package was to book a hotel room first. I mentioned the Passport Plus Pass and they insisted it was a hotel feature and the only thing they had listed was the 5 for 3 day park passes or AP's.

One of the most important things I've learned from this board is that if you don't like the answer you get the 1st (or 2nd time), ask again until you get the answer you want. I've been told multiple things by multiple CM's. I would call back another time (or 2?) and see if you can get someone to upgrade your passes for you. Mousesavers.com got the information on the plus passes from somewhere respectable - I plan on buying those passes also. I would review the info at Mousesavers and call back. Good luck.

I just ordered the PASSPORT "PLUS" passes using the Disneyland (DisneyClub) reservations phone number...You "do not" have to book a room to order these Plus passes...I have our room booked via Priceline.

Ours included:
2 extra days FREE added to your Park Hopper

FASTPASS tickets for multiple attractions at one time

FREE ESPN Zone Arena Game Card ($10 value)

Breakfast in the Park (one per person, at Club Buzz or Pacific Wharf, $8.75 value).

A Disney Club Tinkerbell collectors pin

Adult "3-Day" Passport Plus pass (actually valid for 5 days)$130.25 (including shipping/handling)...Juniors (13yrs old) are $122.75...CM says packages have different age prices than just park passes alone.

If I had AAA...I guess the parking pass would be a better deal if driving.

Also dont be fooled ...

My understanding is the Passport plus is ony available thru AAA and WDTC (DisneyClub) packages.

Plus the unlimited fastpass is true for individual attractions but not the same attraction (eg you cannot get more than 1 fastpass/attraction at any one time but you can get many fastpasses from several attractions without waiting, if this make sense ... eg you cannot 3 FPs for Soaring but you can get 1 for Soaring and 1 for Screaming without waiting the std 2 hour standdown period)

I didn't see it on the Disney Club website...but you can call the Disney Club's Disneyland reservations "800" number listed on the back of the card or PM me if you need it.

I looked this up at mousesavers.com, and since there it says you must get that through a travel agent, I think it's the same thing that AAA offers (or similar) and since they couldn't update or change it, I think I might have to go back to the Ebay option. I'm not a Disney Club member (and you can no longer join?!) so I couldn't check with them. We tried a couple more times with ticketing at Disneyland and Guest Services, and they all insist they can't do that there, which is what I would like to do (upgrade). I'll let you know what happens!
