I am an idiot. We are doing the DCL repositioning cruise form Barcelona to Port Canaveral next year and needed one way flights back from Orlando. My DH found some reasonably priced flights and I booked them.
The plan was to get off the cruise on the Saturday, go to the Boardwalk for one night and spend two part days in the parks before flying home on the Sunday evening, arriving back in the UK on the Monday morning. Great plan especially as this might be our last full family holiday because of the kids going off to University etc.
So I made the booking a few weeks ago. All was well until I happened to look at the confirmation form today. And I have booked flights for the Saturday not the Sunday. So there goes the plan for a bit of extra park time.
Now I have to decide do I just suck it up and face the disappointment, knowing that the cruise will be great even if the end of the holiday isn't what we'd hoped and planned. Or do I change the flights and pay an extra £75 ( about $140) each for it? There are 5 of us so it's £375 ($700) altogether - ouch!
Entirely my own fault but I'm so cross and upset with myself right now.
