My dh was looking over my shoulder last night as I read some of the posts and a couple of them started off with "I'm sexy". My poor dh was so confused. He kept asking "what does being sexy have to do with that?" I tried to explain to him why it is said but he doesn't get it, he just thinks we Disers are odd.

I've noticed that now and again there will be a new poster who, within the space of a an hour so, will bump old threads, reply to posts with random one-liners and then disappear, never to be seen again. What's up with that, anyway? I'm sure many of them are spammers, but I have no idea what this poster's agenda is.

he didn't have to do a word search. just scroll down to the bottom of the page. You'll a whole listing of "Similar Threads." They ALL date back from 2005.

Considering how much work, time & resources the DIS Search features takes to maintain it working properly & efficiently, do we really need such a feature that culls long dead threads for FIVE years ago?
