My husband and I are scheduled to go to the World this Saturday for a week. We usually go, been there many times, when it is hot and this time it will be a during a cold spell. Be both get cold easily and I have packed long johns, hats, gloves and various layers of clothing. Should I buy us windbreakers?
We can reschedule this trip without any penalties and we're now considering to reschedule.
Any thoughts?
Here now, has been in the 80's for four days - also for tomorrow. Cool in the evenings, otherwise perfect weather. Showers for Fri - Sat. then beautiful again. Should be low to upper 60's the next week during days - not bad at all!! Nights 40-50 - nothing to get upset about. Dh & I have been using windbreakers mornings and evenings, but plenty others have short sleeves. Oh, and we, too, are colder natured.
The last time we came to WDW was in Dec. 2010, and we nearly froze - now that was a time I would 'not' like to repeat!!! Was 28* a couple nights and 40's-50's during day with wind chill - now personally, I would never visit during that kind of cold again. I do not like being out all day bundled up and still freezing, all while trying to enjoy 'playing'!! No way for this southern girl!!

This is from WESH. Lows of 39/40 aren't exactly swimming weather.
I think she doesn't believe me when I say it is not always that cold there
