My DH (can I type that minus the "D", I'm not too happy with him right now) forgot our anniversary!:(

Has this ever happened to you?

{{HUGS}} no but I make him very aware...I don't know what would happen if I didn't say anything. If it makes you feel any better at all I'm mad at my DH right now too. He wants to take responsibility for everything to do with his job but when it has to do with home....MY CAR to be specific he puts it off and puts it off. UUGGHH....I know where you are coming from.

I've had anniversaries where I didn't get a gift or a card but he's never forgotten completely.

My sister, however, was married in May, 2001 and her husband forgot their first anniversary this year.

She was so upset, she ended up getting a cruise out of it.

{{{HUGS}}} sweetie, sorry your hubby forgot your anniversary.

{{{hugs}}} to you. I am so sorry he forgot. We've only had one anniversary so far (he's one for one so far) so I've never experienced it.

{{{{{{hugs}}}}}} I am so sorry you Husband forgotyou anniversary11 We will be married 5 years this year and he has never forgotten. I don't think he ever will either....We were married on Halloween and it was his idea!!!! So he better remember!!1 Happy Anniversary!!

Thanks for the hugs...actually, we were supposed to be on a cruise this week, but had to postpone it, so if we were on the ship I'm sure he wouldn't have forgotten. We've been married 5 years, and he's never forgotten before, I did keep quiet this morning, hoping that he would remember on his own. Guess not. I have a card for him but probably won't give it to him until I'm not so upset, somehow the mushy sentiments are not what I'm feeling for him right now. Jason, LOL! Thanks for making me laugh.

I've heard if you want a man to remember your anniversary, get married on his bday, he's more likely to remember the date better.;)

I'm sorry bizybea! :(

Mine almost forgot last year. He remembered the night before.

Mine hasn't yet but if he ever did I can of many ways he would be making it up like to start a big fat trip to wdw first class!!!!!!! so sorry hugs ( but keep in your mind this could work to your advantage )

My DH has never been one to remember special occasions without a lot of help. Grrrrrr....

{{{{HUGS}}}} I am so sorry. DH hasn't forgotten our anniversary, but growing up one birthday I thought everyone forgot my birthday, I was so sad....but they ended up surprising me at the end of the day.....so maybe your DH has a big surprise in store for you?

Browneyes-you took the words right out of my mouth! We got married on DH's birthday & he has never forgotten. He still can be a pain about it though, for instance our 10th anniversary fell on golf league night & he went golfing.

We just celebrated 34 last Saturday, and Not a one has been forgotten!:)

Most men don't seem programmed to remember anniversaries or birthdays. I don't know why that is.
We start talking about our anniversary before it comes and making plans, like are we going away or will we just stay home and celebrate. That helps him remember.:)
We are celebrating our 5th this November.

I'm sorry you got upset, I know how I'd feel.

My husband had troubles remembering his own birthday let alone an anniversary. I made sure he didn't forget.
