This afternoon I was parked in a parking space (not over the line) at the Tom Thumb market. My DS ran into the store while I sat in the car with the air on cause it was hot outside. I drive a 2003 Saturn Vue so it's not a little car and this woman in a new Ford Expedition pulls into the spot at a swift rate of speed and I am watching the front of her car very quickly get closer and closer to the front of mine and sure enough she bumped right into me. My car was sitting in neutral with the parking brake on and my car bounced back and the tires screached due to the ER brake being on. I looked at her and she never waved at me, got out of her car, apologized or anything. She just sat there and completely ignored me. Both her and her teenage daugher new what happend because I saw the look on her daughters face. She just sent her daughter in the store and she sat there. I got my pen out and when her daughter came back out and she started to back out I wrote down her plate number and got out and looked at the front of my car. The thing was she was so close I could not have seen the front of my car till she left because she did not back up. I wish I could get her address from her plate and send her a letter about the art of apology and/ or acknowlegement. I have to watch my blood pressure and I had an accident walking out to the mail box the other night in which I took a dive off the curb so basically I am really trying to not get worked up which is the reason I did not get out of my car and go up to her window. But, sending her a little note sure would make me feel good.
