I'm quite upset!!

I love going to the borads and reading ...The wonderful stories of everyday people.. What they do, how they trade and the wonderful friendships that have evolve.

Isn't that what the board is for??? I alway thought that when I feel down esp. during the Sept. 11 events I found comfort here on the boards.. Many of you responded kindly to each other... I just read "Pins in Exile"

What Happen to you people....!!! Our country and our flag represent the young men and women that are protecting us..
We should be proud that we are free.

The people from France or Germany are not at fault.. They just want to trade and be our friends....

We should look beyond that...

WE are all equal.. no matter what race, color or creed..

I hadn't read the "Pins in Exile" thread until reading this.

I agree with you cathy1140, our non-USA pin friends are not at fault, just as we do not make the political decsions in our country.

I could see postponing a trip to Europe at this time for many reasons, but to not trade European pins or with our European friends seems a bit extreme, IMHO.

I'm meeting someone from Munich at WDW on Sunday for dinner and pin trading. To cancel for political reasons, tears down the bridges built.

But everyone in our country is entitled to their own opinion, and to express that opinion. I may not agree with it, but I will respect it. That's what great about this country.

Thank you both for responding this is what makes this country great. Even though we don't see eye to eye on things it boils down to freedom of exprerssion.
