I'm psyched!! I think I did well.

We got back from our yearly 2 week family vacation in orlando and for some reason this year I'm having a hard time getting back to life. All I think about is Disney. My DH says that I'm sick but doesn't know of any "Disney Detox" resort to send me to. Well yesterday I was home from work with a sick DS(7yr.) and was on the boards cause that's all I seem to do lately. Anyways.............. I found air roundtrip out of Albany NY for $227.00 total for the both of us, compact car from dollar for $164.00 total for 8 days and Embassy Vacation Resort 1 bedroom condo for $325.00( we will have to take a tour but that's ok we've done them before and don't find them a big deal- it's 2 hours of my time) total for an 8 day/7 nite vacation for Dh and me=$716.00 The kids are sitting this trip out. But I don't feel to bad, DD is 17 and has been 10 times and DS is almost 8 and has been 6 times and we will be taking them again 3/03 for 2 weeks. Did I do as well as I think I did? Today when I went to work I wassaying "only 160 more days till I go back to see the mouse" Everyone in my office thinks I'm nuts. They just don't get the whole Disney thing I guess.

My family and friends tease me, too - the new joke is to play the song "Magic Kingdom in the Sky" by DaVinci's Notebook (very funny) at my funeral - after hearing it I made them promise to do it ! That's why I enjoy the folks on the Dis! PS: I think you did great on your next trip - enjoy!

I would love to plan a trip that cheap but I can't bring myself to stay offsite. Oh well...I can't bring myself to leave the kids at home either. If only my AP's hadn't expired.

I think you did great! I'm going this year w/o kids and I'm having a little trouble getting in the spirit. I'm going with a friend and my 2 aunts (2 of them have never been to WDW) I'm excited about the Food & Wine Festival. I'm sure I'll be fine once I arrive. DH will be home with the kids. Have a wonderful trip!
