Now I've had to cancel another trip :(
I'm really chuffed about the new baby, but I'm really gutted about the holiday.. I'm starting to think " Will I ever get to Disney world "
Its going to be the year after next before we can go now. DH doesn't want to go with a really small baby. Never mind - I'm sure we'll get there in the end :p

Congratulations! Walt Disney World can wait, it will still be there. I promise. :p

Congratulations! Much as I love Mickey, there is nothing like a brand new baby. I wish you well with your pregnancy. Enjoy it. And like Olaf said, WDW will still be there when your baby is old enough to travel.

Congratulations!!!! :)

We're off on Saturday with DS who's 19 weeks old, to be honest I think it's a reseanable time to take them. They stay where put on the plane and when in the sun they'll stay in the shade if you put them there, no running up the plane isles or risking too much sun exposure as you can't keep them still. I've spent literally months doing research into taking a baby there (thanks to these FANTASTIC boards) and the baby facilities out there are far superior to any we have here and of course all air conditioned. They're happy to play with something that squeaks / rustles / beeps while being wheeled around in a buggy, WDW and US both have baby swaps so you can still ride the rides.

You'll get there, and you'll have the added bonus of seeing your baby's face light up at the character (either that or screaming in terror!!! ;))

Congratulations!!! :)

Don't worry...WDW will still be there in a couple of years, you'll get there eventually ;)

I'd second the idea of an early trip!! We took DD to Italy when she was 22 weeks and it has been the most relaxing trip with her to date (and she is 20 now!!!)
As you say, she stayed where we put her and everyone adored her!! Go soon!
And lots of congrats:Pinkbounc :Pinkbounc :p

Congrats

Just think, when you do get to Disneyworld you can share the memories with the Baby:bounce: :smooth:

Congratulations !!!!!! I hope all goes well!!!

When is it due???? and like the others have said "You will get there eventually" plus it will make it a bit more special.:Pinkbounc :Pinkbounc :Pinkbounc

One down side to taking a baby to WDW so young is that they get very used to all the attention that is showered on them by Americans. When we got back to England following a visit to WDW when my son was 6 months old (his first visit) he had got used to smiling at everyone around him and people talking to him. You could see the disappointment in his little face when he was back around the reserved nature of many English people!

I have to say in our defence that English people seem to be more open now than they were 9 years ago which is great!

Oh Alex, congratulations:bounce: :bounce:

Our little one finally arrived just 5 days ago, and he will be just about the same age as Jo's when our October trips comes around. No matter when you first get to go it will be special, for both Jay and the new baby. All the best for the pregnancy - keep us posted.

Jo - are you going to do a trip report when you get back ? It would be great to hear how you get on.

Congratulations:p At least you're having to cancel it for a great reason, the best reason in the world;)

Congratulations Alex,
I found it easier to take mine when they were almost attached to me than when they got to 2, and 3. Whatever you will still have a great time when you get to go.

P.S.
I will send your cheque when I do the accounts on Friday.

Aww congratulations.
I agree WDW will still be there for years to come.
And its special sharing it with children, and even yourselves, its fantastic...
Good luck with the pregnancy, and hope it all works out for you.

Congratulations that is lovely news:p

Alex,

Congratulations on your news :bounce:

With regard to WDW with young baby, well I'd be inclined to just go for it!!! The youngest we've taken ours is 18m and I would imagine it's a bit less challenging with a younger baby - lol! :D :D

Keep us updated on your pregnancy.

Love Lisa x

Congratulations!

Here's wishing you a happy and healthy pregnancy :)
