Well, I'm in! I just bought a resale at Boardwalk through DVC. Although it is not official (I am awaiting paperwork), I have a member number and everything. Not only that, I was able to use 2004 points for a one-bedroom at BWV near the end of August for a vacation I had previously scheduled at POP. I was able to book one day after inquiring about it! Although I paid more than a resale with TTS, I did not have to wait for ROFR and got to use my points and make ressies immediately. I am also financing with them - 50/50 (didn't have to wait for HE or other loan. Yippee!) Perhaps, I am just too impatient - but hey, I am one psyched DVC member!
Also, I started a thread a few days ago about NO WAITLIST DVC? There were points available at Boardwalk when I spoke to my guide (Randy is great), but only certain amounts for certain use years. If you wanted a certain month, you would have to wait. The woman I spoke to before Randy was of no help - she said I could not buy Boardwalk through DVC. Thank God for Randy, because I am in!

Also, I bet that with the BWV purchase you made... after you add in the closing costs for the resale, you probably either paid about the same, but probably still saved since you got the 2004 points.
