Hi again!

Trip to the World was great, although too short (aren't they always??). Here are my three reviews as promised:
Mickey's PhilharMagic was good. Not great and not earthshattering, but good. The 3D effects kept separating on me for some reason, but that happens at It's Tough to be a Bug and HISTA too, so no big deal. (Muppets always works perfectly - wonder if that one was done a bit differently?) We made a special trip to the MK Sunday morning to see it, as we didn't have a day planned there. Standby line was about 20 minutes and FastPass return was about 25, so we got the FPs and did Peter Pan and It's A Small World (my favorite!

) during that time.
Mission: Space was, sorry to say, a huge letdown. After all the hype and the announcer voice repeating "this ride will make you barf your lungs out if you're not very careful" about a squillion times before we got on, I was expecting something BIG. Not so much. The liftoff sequence at the very beginning was fun, but after that, it was about as "thrilling" as a ferris wheel. Beware if you wear contacts that there is a cool air vent that blows almost directly into your eyes. (Er, if you're 5'6" anyway.

) Strangely, we had to wait - while fully strapped in - for about 15 minutes so they could clean up a "protein spill." I spent a while after we were finished trying to figure out how someone could have a "ps" on that attraction, and finally came to the conclusion that they must have just psyched themselves out from the hype and the continuous announcements.
GailHayden was an absolute delight, as was her gentleman friend Dee. (First impression of Dee: big smile, even bigger booming laugh.) They were both excellent at putting up with my aunt, who I love dearly, but is missing that "filter" most people have between their brain and their mouth. Her comment when Gail and I were talking about the DIS for just a minute or two? "Yeah, I don't care about that board thing, that's boring. What else can we talk about?"
