What do you call those people that make up the stories for the Disney movies?

I'm fairly sure mthat the usual termology for all movie/animation business would apply for this case, and they would be called 'writers' or 'screenplay/script writers' or something similar to that. Possibly even 'Authors'. Though they may be called something special, I do not know.
