I'm not sure I can wait! Dec 2010!

I'm pretty sure that you would not get 100% back even with the inusrance. I know Disney's insurance is trickey, which is why I too never get it. I go with another company which covers more for less.

I'm pretty annoyed that I got stuck with it... I think it must have happened when I switched us to free dining. I was in a hurry and so excited about saving the extra money... oh well, I've learned a valuable lesson!

I called Disney again and asked why I was able to see availability online etc, and (after a 15 minute hold) the CM came back and said they could indeed add that day, and in a standard room!! That means I can still use my $200 contribution for the Pirate and Pals cruise!!! It ended up being slightly more than expected, but it will pay for itself with our meal at CG and the convenience! Plus no change fee, I assume since I dropped over $500 more to add the extra nights. Now I just need to call and cancel CR, book the cruise, call and rebook ME... Wow I better get started!

Yaaaa for getting a good change!!! I am glad you were able to change things around. The cruise sounds fabulous!!

I am so glad it worked out for you! :cool1: I hate when Disne yassumes everyone wants the insurance. I had many quotes with it in it, and would ask, and then they would say, well yes that includes insurance. If I wanted it, I would've asked for it. So now I book it online so I can uncheck that stupid little box. LOL!

Seriously! I don't even want to know how much extra we paid for it, I know it will just make me more upset!

Great change... The cruise is amazing and your son will LOVE it!!!

Thanks! I am so excited! I just got off the phone with Disney, it's all booked. Now I just have to cancel CR and rebook ME for the right resort. That will have to wait till tomorrow though. I've spent all of my breaks here at work dealing with Disney stuff!

I think I need to get Peter Pan so Jack can watch it and that way he will be familiar with the characters!

Rather than repost the days I have already done, I just made the changes and highlighted them!

I also seem to have managed to overbook our dining credits. Well, not exactly, we have enough for all our ADR's but not for EOS as well. Odds are we will pay cash for EOS since it is obviously the cheapest meal, but there is a good chance we will cancel at least one ADR as time goes by. Last time it was 'Ohana, we were just too exhausted so we went back to the room and ordered pizza instead. We will have to just wait and see!

It's a really good thing I hadn't posted this day yet, since there is a significant change!!!

This is our DHS day. I learned the importance of being here for rope drop when you want to ride TSM twice, so we will be here in plenty of time! Our plan is to send our fastest person ahead to get fastpasses while the rest of ushurry to the standyby line. After TSM plans will be a lot more flexible but will look something like this...

Rockin Rollercoaster
Tower of Terror
The Great Movie Ride
Playhouse Disney
Lunch at 50's PTC
Muppet Vision 3D
Backstage tour
Playground
LMA show
Beauty and the Beast
Block Party Bash parade 3pm

We have a dinner ADR at Jiko at 5:35 pm. After dinner we will head back to DHS to spend some time checking out the Osborne lights. We need to leave DHS by 8 pm though because we need to get to the Contemporary by 8:30 for our Pirates and Pals cruise!!!

I haven't decided when I am going to tell everyone about this, I definitely want to keep it a secret, I'm just not sure if I can keep it quiet all the way until we get to CR... but I think I am going to try!

After our cruise and our pictures with Peter Pan, we will head back to our resort and pass out from all the fun and excitement, I'm sure!

Day 4 meals:
50's PTC lunch: Onion rings for 2, Mom's Pot Roast, Dad's Brownie Sundae
Jiko dinner: Taste of Africa, Oak Grilled Filet Mignon (I'm going to request mac and cheese), Tarzanian Chocolate, Chery and chocolate

Epcot All Day!!

This day we start off with a Kona Cafe ADR at 7:55 am. I am DYING to try Tonga Toast, but I know my dad will get that, so I am going to try the Macadamia Pineapple Pancakes!

After our ADR we will head over to Epcot.

Soarin
Mission Space
Test Track
Spaceship Earth
Nemo
Living with the Land
Imagination
Ellen's Energy Adventure
Lunch at Via Napoli 12:45 pm
Italy Pavilion
Germany Pavilion
China Pavilion
Norway Pavilion
Mexico Pavilion

I want to make sure we get to the Character Spot to get our free pics with our Disney Visa. We have an ADR at Rose and Crown for 8pm so we can catch Illuminations from there. We will probably get extra fastpasses for Soarin or else do baby swap, so we can ride a couple times. It's one of my mom 's most favorite rides. I really wish Jack was going to be tall enough, but I seriously doubt it. I guess he will have to wait till next year!

Day 5 meals:
Kona Cafe breakfast:Macadamia Pineapple Pancakes, Kona coffee, OJ
Via Napoli lunch: Arancini, Carciofi, Zeppole di Catarina
Rose and Crown dinner: Potato and Leek Soup, Sunday Roast, Chocolate Scotch Cake

Looks good. but I would leave HS no later than 7:30 to get to your fireworks cruise.

loving the new plan! i think it makes more sense to move that night to the CBR like you did. i think split stays are fun, but when it is just one night when you don't have to do it, then i wouldn't. especially if you are rushing out in the am and not really getting to enjoy the resort anyhow. there's always a next time to try it out- right?

the cruise sounds so fun- that's on my future to do list. after our hoop dee doo meal last december, half of us took the boat back to WL and the other half took the bus (some of us saw a sign saying the boat was closed, but i guess it wasn't). anyhow, i took the bus. when we get back, come to find out my sister, her family and my parents all saw Peter Pan and his friends at the CR dock (since the boat stops there) and he interacted wtih them and took some pics too! no fair! :rotfl: anyway, looks like fun!

and i agree, use cash for EOS if you need to for one meal. it is so affordable there for a lot of food anyhow. and you get free drink refills unlike most places too.
