thats funny she did not want to sit in the controlls but i can see where they would be intimidating for a younger kid to see all those buttons and think they might break something...

heck i would HAVE to push a button if i was sitting there just to do it.

heck i would HAVE to push a button if i was sitting there just to do it.

Dan, I honestly think she thought if she hit the wrong button the plane was going to take off or something! She just was not about it at all..no worries though, there will be plenty of other surprises similar to that throughout the report..I have stopped trying to figure her out!

I was cracking up at you and "seeing the wind!" That sounds sort of what I shouted to my sister for my graduation trip a few years ago...only this it was more like "Look! I see smog! It exists!" Oh well, lol.

They really surprised me with the new food thing, I had no doubt it would be cold, but in no way expected them to make us new meals. I thanked them profusely!

LOL Lynn! Truth be known I could post it anytime, but I don't want to do anything tooo back to back. Also, that gives me time to get the photopass stuff together! :

We weren't nervous about the time, but only because we knew how much time we had left. I suspect she was probably the first child that had ever turned down that offer!

I would have not even thought about the ticket issue either! Good thing you had enough time! We've had many, many close shaves, and from experience, I can tell you running to a gate is NO fun!

How nice of the Bojangles folks to cook you up some new grub! That's hospitality right there!

Too funny, Piper is such a great kid! Was she just afraid she'd break something? Intimidated Being overly polite?? Poor guy! That was probably the first time that had ever happened to him!

i did almost the same thing in disney last time i was there. we had gone to the beach club to eat ( by car) Me, my mom, and the kids decide to take the boat to epcot (world showcase entrance) and my dh and dad decide to drive the car over. la la la. phone rings (p.s picture tropical storm fay torrential downpour, winds , sticky ponchos) can you meet us at the front YOU have our tickets said my dh in his mad cranky how dare YOU , the uber planner not realize this. ugh. traipse thru the length of epcot in this horrid weather and exit the park as to give dh and my dad their tickets. they were mad at me the whole day, because i should have thought of it. i apologized but they could not understand how i could remember to carry custom clothes , where secret passageways are, what order to see the rides, how to get candy from miyuki, what time off kilter was performing, but now remember to give them their tickets. i am glad you had a much easier time with the ticket issue

So even with Mr. Cranky pants in the middle, and Mom getting stuck at the gate, your trip seems to be starting of magicall with the people remaking you some hot food!!

Piper is too cute with her "no thank you" and not wanting to sit in the seat!! My daughter would be all over that seat pushing every button she could and could not see!!

Great Plane Update Amanda !! Last year when we all went for some reason Kyle was scared as we were boarding and The Captain saw this and asked him into the cockpit !! He was thrilled !! We went and found our seats and the stewardess brought Kyle back to us and he was grinning from ear to ear !!!

Ive had to do the run for the gate a couple of times myself, and it is NOT something I would want to do with an 8 yr old in tow! LOL. The folks at Bojangles were awesome, if we lived near it I'd go more often. Spicy food is a mood thing for me, I can do it maybe 3x a year, and I'm done. Their biscuits though..yummmmm! It was some nice pixie dust getting fresh food! Overall our trip down was great..there are always some hang-ups!
