I guess I waited a little too long to check for your return. Gotta say, I'm looking forward to this report. I get a little teary eyed when I see that someone who is deserving get something as special as a Dis Trip. Having said that, I have to return to page 2 to continue where I left off. Glad you're back.

Thank you so much! Believe it or not, I don't know if we could have stood another week, as much as we talked about how awesome that would be! We were all worn out when we got home!

NO WORRIES!! I'm going to the happiest place on earth and nothing is going to make me have a bad time. So There!!!!!

Piper, you look soooo happy in that limo. I could only imagine how you felt when that big white carriage pulled up to your grams and the "footman" (driver) treated you like Cinderella. What a way to start your fantastic voyage.

That was kind of our attitude as well, and we found it quite handy fighting the crowds later on!

LOL..Patiently, huh? I'm thinking it's probably going to be tomorrow night, right now I'm up to my ears trying to edit photopass pics on dial-up so I can get the CD ordered and have it to use in my installments! I was surprised, we ended up with 140 photopass pics, more than I thought!

Wow! That's pretty good actually. I only got about 20 last time, but I knew I wasn't going to buy the cd anyway- just a few pics here and there. Got a good one of me and Aleks holding Tink. Its cute!

They handed them out the 2nd day we were there..we picked ours up on our way to Epcot, and I took the photopass card out and slipped the letter beside the console..I have one more box to check, but thus far I have NOT been able to find it!! They're not giving out great info though, they told me we could only use the code for the card in the envelope, and I already had a card from Magic Kingdom. From being on here I knew I could enter more than one code, but hopefully they didn't freak anyone else out telling them that! She had told me I would have to pay for the pics from the other card. I didn't argue as she sounded so sure of herself, I prob should have said something, but I hate being confrontational!

But where did the info come from? I am sure the people from Disney PhotoPass would want the correct info getting out...And hopefully we can fix that.

Did they give you a special card? That had a Genie on it? That is what they had talked about?

Anyway...PM me...but I am VERY excited that they finally have rolled it out!!! Woo Hoo!!

They told me the same thing. Since we got ours on our 4th day, we had already gotten a card at Hollywood Studios, and it had tons of pictures on it. I'm so glad that I knew that I could enter my card online. And the code did work for the card that was not included in the envelope. I'm like you. . . I hope that other families aren't mislead and think that they have to forfeit the pictures they already have.

So when we last left you, we were on our way to Charlotte after Piper's impromptu performance! The flight was pretty uneventful, though I have to say it cracks me up when they do drink service on an hour flight. You're 30 min in..they roll out the drink cart, you get a beverage...and ten minutes later they're picking up the cups again to prepare for landing! Seems like a pointless endeavor, but hey..whatever floats their boa..er..plane. I'm looking out the window, and comment to Piper.."oh, look..you can actually see the wind going by." This struck me as slightly odd, as I didn't recall seeing anything like that before, and I've flown quite a bit, but I didn't think too much of it. Well..we're descending..look out the window..and holy guacamole..that wasn't wind...it was SNOW! It was snowing hard..like close to blizzard, you're covered in snow by the time you get into the airport, hard! Luckily we only had a 2 hr layover, so we weren't too concerned.

Now..Gram is a smoker from the old school. She will not set foot into a mall or a movie theater because she can't smoke. So we're strolling along to our gate for Orlando, and I knew what was going to happen. Sure enough, we get to the security entrance, and she says "I'm going to go and have a cigarette, you guys go on ahead and find something for lunch, and just call and let me know where you end up." Do you see where this is going? So we make our way about 1/2 mile (this airport is huge) down to our terminal, and find a Bojangles..stand in line, order, get our food...we sit down and get all settled. I turn on my cell phone to call Gram..and when she picks up the first words out of her mouth are "I can't get through security, you have my ticket!" I tell her, probably in somewhat of a terse voice, that we'll be there asap. The people at Bojangles are nice enough to take our food behind the counter for us, and we head the 1/2 mile back to security. Now, if it was just me, no big deal..but poor Piper was NOT a happy camper about all the trudging back and forth. We are able to hand off Gram's ticket to a TSA Agent, who takes it to where she is waiting, and she's back through and with us. Okay, here's the thing..it wasn't really her fault..I knew I had all of our tickets, she knew I had all of our tickets, we both just didn't even think about it. I apologized for being ermm..upset on the phone with her, and we started our journey back to the terminal. The folks at Bojangles actually made us new food, which we took to the gate and scarfed down in the 15 minutes we had left before boarding. Can I just say thank goodness it was a 2 hr layover and not a shorter one?

When we got the gate the agent called me up and asked if we'd like to pre-board, and let Piper meet the First Officer. Naturally we were all about that, and soon we were heading onto the plane. One of the stewardesses was nice enough to take pics of Piper in the cockpit...

Now the First Officer says.."Piper..you can sit in the Captain's seat".. gesturing to the empty seat. Piper replies rather quickly. "Thank you, but I'm not sitting THERE!". He says, "No, no..not for the flight, just so you can try it out." Piper answers.."Thank you, but no, that's okay, really..I better get to my seat..." Now I'm listening to all this and have to admit, I'm laughing..the poor man thought he was being nice, and there was nothing less than drugging up the kid and tying her down that was going to get her to sit in that chair with all those controls. Oh well, such is life!

The rest of the flight went very smoothly, Piper enjoyed doing some activity pages people had sent, and playing with her i-spy bag. I had conversations with a few people sitting near us that wanted to know more about MAW (gotta love that), and Gram settled in with her book. We had to be de-iced, but Piper enjoyed watching the process from the window, and things like that don't really bother me, I'm not a nervous flyer at all. I was just glad to be getting out of Charlotte as they had started delaying and cancelling flights! I called Give Kids the World and let them know the flight was going to be delayed by at least 30 minutes, so we were good to go.

Next thing we knew, we were landing in Orlando, hooray! We gathered our things and headed for the monorail and baggage claim....

Up Next.. "Could I get a downgrade please?"
