Well, I take good pictures but tend to not be ready for being in them - lol. I was really happy that some of those inside shots came out. For some reason I thought it would be hard to get the characters in the hallway ...that whole "catching ghosts on camera" thing

That would be cool to watch And yes, the video cameras have such good light sensing technology that they can really catch a lot!

Well ToT is an aquired taste and I only rode it once at DL, but we must make certain sacrifices to entertain our wee ones

Thank you - it was as close as I ever got to being on Test Track

Okeydoke!

I ran out of steam and posting room last night with us finishing up our second run on ToT. I snapped a pic of the screen on the way through and this time I’m not fiddling …I’m POISED FOR ACTION! to catch that view out the window - hehe. Also notice the dad on the far left giving the camera a "hey, do I know you" (or telling his kid "there's the camera")

I then put the camera away and we went through on standby one more time. When we came off it was still short of our FP time. I looked at my watch and saw it was getting close to time for the Indiana Jones Stunt Spectacular and convinced Bean that it was time to move on from the thrill rides. We knew we wouldn’t make it back in time but honestly couldn’t find anyone to take our FP tickets because standby was still only 10-15 minutes! I ended up just putting them on the ToT FP machines so the next lucky couple could find a happy discovery.

I had given us a good buffer of time to get there and get seated so we ended up front row towards the left. They did the pre-show stuff and Bean was bummed that the volunteers had to be grown-ups :-[ I took a couple of shots while we waited

After the skits were done the show began and in came our valiant hero!

Much jumping and dodging ensued

He made it off the floor but his perilous journey was not over!

Hey, who opened up the Pit of Despair???

The treasure is in his grasp…

During this interlude it was my pleasure to teach my young one about all that was Indiana Jones. Up to now she had been very apathetic about watching the movies. I had tried to get her to do so at home before our trip but after the bad experience on the Indian Jones ride at DL she wanted nothing to do with it. But now she suddenly had a keen interest for it – lol

As an aside, she has now watched all three movies and is waiting for number four to come out!

Surprised Bean actually let you seperate her from the Thrill Rides. Glad she enjoyed Indiana Jones!! It's one of Chris' favorite things at MGM. That's awesome that the show finally made her watch the movies and she's waitng for #4 to come out. We are impatiently waiting for it too.

That was it. End of show. They apparently had some technical difficulties that did not allow them to do the finale safely :-[

We shuffled out with the disheartened masses and I stopped ot get a pic of a rusting truck

…and another one with Bean in front of the tank.

By then we were getting pretty hungry so I asked Bean what she wanted to eat. She said pizza so off we went to Toy Story Pizza Planet. We got a couple of slices and salads and headed upstairs away from most of the noise. It was actually a very nice meal by a window where we ate and talked about all of the adventures we had already had and what we wanted to do next.

I looked at the schedule and saw that Buzz and Woody were at Al’s Toy Barn, so we finished up and headed that way.

We moved on with the Backlot Tour as our destination. We stopped at the umbrella and waited and waited and waited and finally gave up waiting for the “rain” and snapped a shot.

Of course as soon as we started walking off the rain started up Oh well – on to the Backlot Tour!

On to the special effects show. It was too cold to have the audience member go get drenched in the “room”, so they just did the bullets and pyro

More booms and bangs, along with the rest of the tour to come. And we get a special treat while we’re in the tour vehicle!

bummer about the finale at Indiana. Gotta be safe though.

Love the pictures of Bean with Buzz and Woody. They way Buzz's face is on his costume cracks me up!!! I must get a picture with them in September. I bet I'll laugh at him then too.

I loved Pizza Planet too. It is quite noisy downstairs but upstairs is nice.

you found the umbrella!!!! That rain feature is so sporadic. At least you found it though. Most people can't even figure out where it's at

I love the Backlot Tour. Looking forward to more pictures from that. Bummer about it being too cold for someone to get drenched. When we were there in Sept they didn't have audience participation then either because of technical difficulties.
