I'm not able to get a FP for BOG

I was able to make a reservation for March 30th this morning. In the past, when I would check for availablity, I had to put in my resort reservation number to sign in to the system. Today, I did not have to enter that. It just took me to the selection screen like the PP said.

It doesn't look like my reservation shows up in My Disney Experience reservation list though, and I did not get an email confirmation. I should have printed it or did a screen shot. Is this correct that I won't be able to see the reservation now?

ETA: I returned to the BOG fastpass link and I could see my reservation. It still doesn't show it in MDE, but at least I can print it.
 
I made my BOG FP reservation this morning for March 19. I never received any kind of invitation. I went to the website, logged in with my email and MDE password. It took me directly to my vacation dates. I made my selections (chose my meal) and when I clicked "done" it gave me a confirmation screen with my time, members of my party, meal selections, and arrival instructions.

At no point did I see anywhere to put in a resort reservation number, it only asked for my email and password. Also, it hasn't shown up in my MDE, nor did I receive an email confirmation. I went back to the website, logged in again, and my FP was there, so I printed the confirmation screen.

Will this go to my Magic Band? Do I need to bring the printout? (I'm going to anyway) Why didn't I need a resort ID? Has this occurred with other people? :confused3

This FP reservation will not go to your magic band, no. Its a totally different reservation set up, since this is typically just a "trial period." I went to BOG back in September and used the FP then also. I took a screenshot of my reservation just in case there was any issues since there was nothing in my disney experience, etc. When I walked up to the podium up front I told them I had FP, they asked me my last name and how many in my party, then lets us walk right in. They never asked to see a confirmation or anything. I did bring it just in case though! I HTH some. I'm going back on 3/5 and I can't wait! I hope you enjoy your trip! :)
 
So do you have to put your meal order in when you make your reservation?
 
Finally able to make mine too...April 9th. FYI, if you don't like the times offered, pick one anyway, then go back and modify. I got three different time pairs to choose from before they started to repeat.

Kimi, no. Just choose Expedited Arrival. You will be able to choose your meals from the kiosks upon arrival. Don't forget cupcakes! They are amazing! (We went through all this is August)
 

Thank you for making this thread! I too was having the same issue, with the BoG website not accepting the letters. I shall give this method a try!
 
I can't even get a numerical reservation number! lol Is it normal for them to not show up right after you booked your trip? I know it's doubtful we'd get one now anyway because we aren't going till May, but I wanted to see how to do it anyway. The only reservation I have is the one with letters in it.
 
One more question, we are traveling with a group of 9. We have not yet all became friends with each other on MDE so do we need to do this first like we were getting FP+s or can I go and try it now and enter 9. I'm thinking no because I'm thinking on site is required, wanting to try but afraid it will lock my 4 in then we can't add sisters 5. Haha.

No you do not need to become friends it is not the same page that you will make other ADR's is s specific link. I am little confused are you staying onsite? Because if you are not you will not be able to make BOGFP+ reservations. If some of you are staying onsite as long as you get that reservations # to put in you will be fine.

Yes we are all staying on site. We are a group of 9 but staying in two rooms. I am in charge of FP+ and scheduling, we have all made profiles on MDE and we can all see each other tickets. My question is when I go on this website and make reservations can I only make them for my room or for everyone in our group?
 
So after trying unsuccessfully to enter every possible Res# for BOG lunch FP+
and throwing up my hands in despair.... I read the log in info 1 more time.
where it says it must match ressie exactly.... I realized that I had entered my first and last name correctly however My ressie is in My FULL name ! I entered first and middle name on top line and then my last and PRESTO I was in!!! Hope this may help anyone else out there that may be struggling.
(I put it down to 20+ days of -20 weather! and a frozen brain lol)

Thank you thank you for this thread! I kept wondering what I was doing wrong. I was able to find my numerical reservation # on the magic band page and it worked! I have BoG FPs now. Yay!!!

I was beginning to think that I was the only one experiencing this. :confused3 Glad I'm not alone. I've been trying to figure out how to link it with MDE and was totally lost. Good to know that it isn't necessary.

Thank you so much for clearing this up. I couldn't figure out why everyone else was entering a ressie # and all I did was sign in. I will print out my confirmation and bring just in case. Thanks again.
 
When I started this thread I was so hesitant because I felt like an idiot when I couldn't figure it out! I guess the saying goes "no question is a stupid question" especially when bunches of other people have the same question!! :rotfl:
 
We used FPP for BOG lunch in December it was great. Just walked up check in and the food comes right to your table(we ordered online). FYI though don't let the regular line scare you it does get long but it appeared to move very quick and the family eating next to us who did not have a FPP reservation confirmed this. Also best food I have ever had in MK period, that park has always been lacking decent food IMO.
 
I went in to play around on the website last night although I'm not arriving until June. The website only shows 2 people in our party, although we are clearly a party of 4 on the reservation. Not seeing any place on the website to change it. Anyone have this issue?
 
Try entering the reservation under another family members name - have them log on with their sign on/ password and make the reservation. All members might show up for him. Good luck!

None of the other members of my party have a MDE account, but I'll create one for my wife and try it. Will this interfere with my other MDE account re FP+ and/or MB's??
 
No, it should not change anything. We had an issue with this as well and my daughter made the reservation with her sign on info. First, under MDE, you go to your friends and family tab. Click on your wife's name and choose the option to send her an invite. She will then get an email to create her MDE account. This will link her sign on stuff to your main account. When she is done creating her account, go to the BOG fp site. Have her log on (she will need the resort reservation number) and (hopefully) all family members should appear. Good luck!
