"I'm NOT a Princess, I'm Izzy!" - May '15 Land/Sea ~ Updated 6/4: Link to Disneyland TR!!!

We ate at that same table in March. It was our first time at Primetime. DH also got the stuffed pork chop. He really like it too. I got the fish of the day, and it came with this really good sweet potato hash. The meal was so surprisingly good that I would really love to go back, but we haven't tried Sci Fi yet. We didn't get a shake. I think the thought of all the dessert we would be having at the dessert party kind of turned me off of any other dessert. Plus, we were in a hurry to get to Lights, Motor, Action for the last time.
Oh, funny you were at the same table! It was a good one. It was a good meal - Dug really adored that pork chop. Ah, makes sense to skip the shake when you have a dessert party coming up! (and a car show)

One can never have enough colouring books.
Eh, 5 of the same one is somewhat excessive.

That's what spouses are for.
Very true, second set of eyes comes in handy.

Give her time. Soon enough she'll be beating you. all the freaking time.
I believe it. ::yes::

How was her outside-the-game score?
Um, one million? :scratchin

Dug's row, far left.
And middle row, second from the right.

Those crack me up.

Dug does too. He looks like he's having way too much fun.
:rotfl2:

Oh! Didn't know you could do that.
Yes, they all had use by 5/31 dates printed on them. :thumbsup2

Welcome to Florida!
:umbrella:

Of course. That's why it rained.
If you'd brought rain gear, it wouldn't have rained.
Pretty much. Guess we should have tossed it in the stroller. :sad2:

How to meet friends, courtesy of Disney and Mother Nature.
:crowded:

Naturally. Bring rain gear. You'll never see a drop.
::yes::

Can't say as I blame her!
True.

Was not expecting that one. :confused3

Ah! That's the ejector seat. It occasionally ejects a tourist on a random basis.
:lmao:

That's odd. You'd think a CM would know the park layout.
I think this building was maybe just a bit too obscure for her?

Huh. I never noticed it either.
Happy to help. :goodvibes

"And then ran out because our ADR was for 50s Prime Time. We just made it!"
:rotfl2: I fixed it. Funny thing is, I actually thought to myself, as I was falling asleep last night, "Did I put Sci Fi instead of Prime Time?" But then I fell asleep and forgot about it until I saw this today. :rotfl: Thanks!

Nice! Didn't think to ask for one when I went with Kay.
I think it's worth asking - really adds to the ambiance.

Sure. Why even try to stay in the lines when you can get someone else to do it?
Exactly. She enjoys directing the activities of others, so this suits her better.

Wasn't that good?!?
It was really good!

Wow. That looks good! Might have to try that next time.
He LOVED that thing. Our waitress highly recommended it and with good reason.

That's how I felt. It was fine, but...
Now the fried chicken on the other hand... yum.
Sounds tasty!

She's on vacation. It's all good.
Yep!

It was pretty cute.

Too bad. Ah well, you'll just have to go back and try again.
:thumbsup2

I sat with her and tried to teach her how to play, but she wasn’t terribly into it. She did pull the string some, but had her blaster aimed all the way up:

Aria did that until maybe the last trip when she attempted to aim. She'll get it (prob earlier than Aria as she already seems more adept at games!)

As we got close to Star Tours, our previously pleasant morning suddenly erupted into a downpour! :umbrella: And, of course, this was the one morning that we didn’t bring any rain gear into the parks

Ugh, that always happens to me too! That one day the rain gear doesn't make it into the stroller!

Naturally, it started pouring again as we were out in the open. :sad2: We hustled over to Star Tours and I ducked under a tree near the entrance. The Cast Member wanted to measure Izzy and I had to explain that she was not riding, I just was handing her off to Dug for Rider Swap (she was like 4 inches short at the time - I'm surprised the CM even thought she had a chance). She was not at all pleased to 1.) leave me and 2.) get rained on again. With Izzy crying, they went off to find seats and shelter in the Sounds Dangerous/Jedi Training Sign-Up building.

Glad you made it onto Star Tours at least, and sorry Izzy was so upset, poor girl!

We enjoyed the show, as it had been quite some time since we’d seen it (and Izzy’s first time):

I always forget this is here. lol

I didn’t spot them and we got called to our table before I could text to check in with her. We got our TV table request :thumbsup2:

Woohoo!

so I was soon ordered to color Mike Wazowski green (coloring by delegation – her favorite method).

LOL Aria likes to delegate too.

Izzy’s uneaten meal came with a dessert, so I figured she’d at least eat the Mickey sprinkles off the ice cream. And she did, but not the actual ice cream. Candy only for lunch!

Ugh at least you brought back the left overs. I hate when Aria wastes meals (which happesns like 80% of the time at Disney).

Clearly, I am thrilled to be her personal servant. :rolleyes2

Uh huh.

Eh, 5 of the same one is somewhat excessive.

One can have enough colouring books.

Um, one million? :scratchin

Good score!

Yes, they all had use by 5/31 dates printed on them. :thumbsup2

Nice.

Pretty much. Guess we should have tossed it in the stroller. :sad2:

Someone would've taken your stroller then.

I think this building was maybe just a bit too obscure for her?

Take her job!!!

:rotfl2: I fixed it. Funny thing is, I actually thought to myself, as I was falling asleep last night, "Did I put Sci Fi instead of Prime Time?" But then I fell asleep and forgot about it until I saw this today. :rotfl: Thanks!

:goodvibes

I had eaten at the SAME table in March! Do you have any information on Disney cruises by the way?:chat:

Oh My Goodness! I finally caught up. I feel like I just ran a marathon. I am loving reading along! I remember our first trip, my youngest was 2-3/4 and we also took MANY trips to the bathroom! Maybe not quiet as many as you have but we did many!

My youngest would have died if she could meet an ewok! She loves them! I am holding out hope for new star wars land.

I can't wait to hear how the rest of the trip went!

Your Sci Fi breakfast reminds me of our breakfast there! Good times, definitely. When we ate there this past trip, I missed the Star Wars characters and think they should just permanently make it a Star Wars Character meal, at least until they open Star Wars Land. The Star Wars clips were so much more fun than the regular stuff, although if you were not a Star Wars fan then I guess it wouldn't be that fun. LOL. I keep having to remind myself that not everyone is a Star Wars fan (what?!?).

The pics with the Gammorean guard are so cool! We didn't see him last year!

Sorry about the rain but looks like you guys made the best of it! You meat at 50's PT looks good. That stuffed pork chop looks amazing, and I'm not really a pork chop fan, but boy that stuffing looks delicious and the chop looks like it has a nice sear on it.
When we ate there 2 years ago we didn't get much of the "stern mom" personality from the waitstaff. From what I heard, they toned it down a bit. It was definitely a change from when I ate there with DH in 2009, and our server reprimanded me when I put my elbows on the table. I guess not everyone wants to be reminded to behave...:cutie:

That picture of Izzy using your hand to feed herself is soooo cute! I love it!

Aria did that until maybe the last trip when she attempted to aim. She'll get it (prob earlier than Aria as she already seems more adept at games!)
Hmmm, now I'm trying to remember how she did at Disneyland. :scratchin All I remember is waiting in that darn line! :headache: I will have to check my notes/pics to see if she improved.

Ugh, that always happens to me too! That one day the rain gear doesn't make it into the stroller!
So frustrating! I actually made a conscious decision not to bring it, since we'd only be out through lunch and the forecast was clear. Guess I learned my lesson. :rotfl:

Glad you made it onto Star Tours at least, and sorry Izzy was so upset, poor girl!
I felt so bad leaving Izzy when she was so upset and desperately wanted me. :sad1:

I always forget this is here. lol
I think we'd missed it on the last few trips, so made it a point to hit it this time.

:happytv:

LOL Aria likes to delegate too.
Smart kids. Guess they are both going to run companies someday or something. :goodvibes

Ugh at least you brought back the left overs. I hate when Aria wastes meals (which happesns like 80% of the time at Disney).
Yep, I never know when Izzy is going to chow down or barely pick at her food, so we definitely end up with leftovers often. At least macaroni keeps and reheats well. ::yes::

One can have enough colouring books.
::yes::

Good score!
:cheer2:

It was very handy!

Someone would've taken your stroller then.
Laws of the universe. ::yes::

Take her job!!!
Well, remember, I couldn't find it either.

Thanks for the help!

I had eaten at the SAME table in March! Do you have any information on Disney cruises by the way?:chat:
Wow, popular table!

Depends what info you're looking for on Disney cruises - ask away. Once I finish writing about this day, we get on our cruise (finally!), so I'll share what I know as I go through that. We've only done the one Disney cruise, so I'm no expert, but happy to share what our experience was like. :goodvibes

Oh My Goodness! I finally caught up. I feel like I just ran a marathon. I am loving reading along! I remember our first trip, my youngest was 2-3/4 and we also took MANY trips to the bathroom! Maybe not quiet as many as you have but we did many!
Haha, glad to have you up to speed...don't worry, you can walk the rest of this race with my slow-paced updates. :goodvibes Gotta love the tour of all the Disney restrooms you get with a 2-year-old.

My youngest would have died if she could meet an ewok! She loves them! I am holding out hope for new star wars land.
I was so happy we got to meet one. We only expected to meet Chewie, so great bonus! :thumbsup2

I can't wait to hear how the rest of the trip went!
Thanks, more coming soon.

I agree - it would be a great permanent character meal. Even for a non-fan, I think the experience is pretty cool.

The pics with the Gammorean guard are so cool! We didn't see him last year!
We were lucky to just come across him and get pics. Totally unplanned.

Sorry about the rain but looks like you guys made the best of it! You meat at 50's PT looks good. That stuffed pork chop looks amazing, and I'm not really a pork chop fan, but boy that stuffing looks delicious and the chop looks like it has a nice sear on it.

Yeah, Dug really loved that pork chop.

I've only been to Prime Time one other trip (2014) and the waiter mostly just reminded us about elbows on the table. Nothing major, though.

That picture of Izzy using your hand to feed herself is soooo cute! I love it!
I am really just a giant spoon. :rotfl:

I was literally thinking the same thing! I'm all caught up! I was so far behind lol
Wow, lots of marathon reading sessions going on today! :faint: Glad you're caught up - given how slowly I update, you probably won't get too far behind again. ;)

Loving your TR so far, can't wait to read about the cruise!
Thanks, I am itching to start writing about the cruise! I can't believe it was already a whole year ago!

Bubbles!

Izzy found a dino track to compare foot size with:

(Okay, that reminds me, I have to tell this recent story. We were at Dug’s brother’s birthday party recently and he had a dinosaur cake. His request was that everyone, instead of singing happy birthday, pretended to be dinosaurs for 10 seconds. So, we did. And Izzy came right over and pretended to EAT me! Guess she was a carnivore! :lmao:)

Then, of course, it was time for yet another downpour. We ducked under an umbrella to wait it out a bit:

When it let up some, I ran over to the Toy Story Mania area because they were handing out Star Wars posters to Annual Passholders and Dug wanted one (and I had an AP!) I got the rolled up poster and put it in my pocket and tucked it under my shirt to shield it from the light rain. Then off to search for Dug and Izzy, who had gone shopping. After going through several stores, I eventually tracked them down. Dug told me that Izzy had a “pretzel emergency”. :confused3 At any rate, he had found a t-shirt he wanted and he was admiring the Stormtrooper Magic Bands on display. He just got the shirt, though.

I believe we’d also gotten a few things at that Star Wars gift shop earlier, so Dug ran over to package pick-up to retrieve that. Izzy and I chose to wait for him by the CM that was blowing bubbles:

That CM was very patient with Izzy’s bubble obsession and they had a lot of fun. Izzy had a great time chasing and catching all the bubbles:

And even a video clip:

(click to watch)

This will not be the last you see of bubbles in this TR. :rolleyes1

We eventually headed out of the park and to the boat launch, boarding around 2pm. We were excited to go back to our resort for a break! (and then I’d have to go get our rental car).

There was only one open seat, up in the second row, so I grabbed that for Dug while he parked the stroller in back. I gave him the seat to rest his aching back, as I was fine standing. Izzy chose to stand with me versus sitting on Dug’s lap. Not a surprise, as she was all, “Mommy, mommy, mommy, not daddy” during this trip. Only I could carry her, etc. One of my potential names for this TR was something like, "Only you, Mommy, only you!"

At any rate, we got going and soon found out that our co-captain was quite the comedian :

He said he had wanted to work on the Jungle Cruise, but ended up on this boat instead. :boat: He was cracking joke after joke and encouraging audience participation. Dug chimed in on a few things and got some attention:

I was surprised when Izzy decided to get involved too. The co-captain asked, “What’s a mouse with two legs?” and Izzy spontaneously screamed out, “Mickey!!!” before anyone else. :earseek: Dug and Izzy were both awarded Safety Cards:

She was quite pleased with her prize:

We disembarked at the Swalphin and walked back to the Boardwalk from there:

At some point during all of this, I got a call from Enterprise telling me that they were running behind schedule on their pick-ups and asked me to take a cab over, for which they would fully reimburse me. I said okay – that was nice of them. :thumbsup2 Once back at the room, I think Dug and Izzy had naptime and I worked on prepping our things for the evening’s plans at MK before heading out to get the car.

Once I got down to the lobby, I stopped at the front desk to pay down our room charge balance with Gift Cards, since we’d be checking out the next morning. I also confirmed with Bell Services that they would store our bags “long term” while we were on the cruise, including cold storage for our food items. Since we’d be coming back to stay at the same resort, it didn’t make sense to lug all of our stuff on and off the cruise, so we left the things we didn’t need. After that, they sent me to the outdoor Bell Services desk to ask for a cab. I did and a minivan pulled right up. We were on our way at 3:11pm:

As I rode, I checked out MK wait times and was surprised to see Big Thunder was so much shorter than Buzz:

Strange. :confused3

It felt like it took forever to get past Downtown Disney, with all the traffic and stoplights and construction :snail::

I hear it’s much better now that it’s Disney Springs.

At any rate, we finally arrived at the B Resort (yes, that is the name of the place). I paid and got a receipt from the cabbie before heading in. First thing I noticed was that they had a Disney Store in the lobby:

I didn’t actually go in there, though. Instead, I headed over to the tiny Enterprise counter where there were three people working and only one other customer. Everyone was super friendly and they got me my cab reimbursement and set me up with a Ford Fusion, which they said was the best balance of trunk space and MPG vs. the other choices. The lady with the lovely English accent went to go pull it around for me. It took a while, so I wandered and took a few photos of the resort:

Seemed like a nice enough place. Probably very walk-able to Disney Springs now, since I saw them building pedestrian bridges and such.

Here was the car we got for our 1-way rental:

It was about 3:40pm now. I was a bit bummed that we wouldn’t make it over to Trader Sam’s until after it opened (4pm), but figured we could still get an outside table, which would be fine. :drinking1

After inspecting the car, I fired up Siri to guide me back to the Boardwalk. I had to go past the whole Downtown Disney traffic mess again, so it took way too long and I wasn’t back until about 4:10pm. When I finally walked in the door of our room, thinking they would be itching to go, I found everyone fast asleep:

Come on, guys, time to get up and head to the Poly and the Magic Kingdom! Woo hoo! :cool1: Or not. o_O This is the point where this day really went off the rails. :scared:

Up next: Those perfectly laid plans are a-changin’. And someone is all out of sorts. :furious:

This will not be the last you see of bubbles in this TR. :rolleyes1

Haha I love CM's who spend that extra time blowing bubbles. I love that they are a favorite of Aria, too.

"Only you, Mommy, only you!"

Surprisingly, this hasn't ended with Aria. Every.single.night she puts up a fit if Andrew tries taking her upstairs to bed. (We switch off nights).

I was surprised when Izzy decided to get involved too. The co-captain asked, “What’s a mouse with two legs?” and Izzy spontaneously screamed out, “Mickey!!!” before anyone else. :earseek: Dug and Izzy were both awarded Safety Cards:

That is so cute!

Good to know! I bet they could do resort transfers too, if you were coming back to stay at another resort?

After inspecting the car, I fired up Siri to guide me back to the Boardwalk. I had to go past the whole Downtown Disney traffic mess again, so it took way too long and I wasn’t back until about 4:10pm. Oh no! Ugh I'd be annoyed!

:furious:

Uh oh!

I am ridiculously behind on all TRs!

It sounds like you had a great trip to the Dells! We have several indoor waterparks here but nothing quite that large. It looks like lots of fun, especially when it's so cold and dreary out!

Fun breakfast a Sci-Fi! Were they showing clips from old movies as well as previews for TFA? And I can totally understand Izzy's confusing in meeting Darth Vader. Every other character loves her shirt, right??

Sorry about the downpour! Definitely not fun, especially when you aren't expecting rain. Glad you and Dug got to ride TOT/Star Tours!

I love those CMs with bubbles. But I always feel bad because there is no way we are buying anything from them.

That's great that the rental car situation worked out in the end, but kind of a pain with the taxi and traffic!

Gotta love the tour of all the Disney restrooms you get with a 2-year-old.

I have to say our absolutely favorite bathroom is the Rapunzel bathroom. My girls love to just dance in the courtyard area to the music playing. I should create an app to count the amount of times you visit a bathroom on your Disney vacations! I think there could be some interesting chart analysis. ;)

Don't you love how bubbles are almost more fun than some of the attractions at that age? How is something like that so exciting?

Uh oh. Sorry that your night is about to take a turn for the worse. Glad the pick-up for the rental went smoothly, though!

The Cast Member wanted to measure Izzy and I had to explain that she was not riding, I just was handing her off to Dug for Rider Swap (she was like 4 inches short at the time - I'm surprised the CM even thought she had a chance).

You know, CM's were doing the exact same thing to DS on our trip in 2015 (when you could clearly see that he was not even close to reaching the minimum height!) I wonder if they're required to treat every small guest the same and treat them like they could potentially make the height?:confused3

After my ride, I tried to find the Sounds Dangerous building and went the wrong way, getting lost (as usual)

Yep, I get lost at DHS too.

IMG_5540_zpsfpw5d8xf.jpg

Ah never noticed!

I didn’t spot them and we got called to our table before I could text to check in with her. We got our TV table request

Never thought you could request those tables. Will have to do that next time for sure!

I don't know why, but I always thought that this milkshake would be more pinkish, like a strawberry color? Or maybe ribbons of jelly??

Never would have thought of ordering this, but this looks delicious!

And she did, but not the actual ice cream

What a weirdo you have! No ice cream just sprinkles??

Clearly, I am thrilled to be her personal servant. :rolleyes2

:rotfl2::rotfl:

His request was that everyone, instead of singing happy birthday, pretended to be dinosaurs for 10 seconds. So, we did.

:lmao:Aw man no video??

I'll say it again, thank goodness for bubble CM's. And they probably have no idea how much they mean to us parents with toddlers.

"Only you, Mommy, only you!"

Ugh, not going to lie, that sucks sometimes doesn't it?

and everyone in the background looks super happy with the skipper too!

I also confirmed with Bell Services that they would store our bags “long term” while we were on the cruise, including cold storage for our food items.

That is awesome service! Figured you would have to throw all that away or take it with you. That is great!

I found everyone fast asleep:

:headache::headache:That was definitely not part of the itinerary.

Well, remember, I couldn't find it either.

:lmao: Good point!

Izzy found a dino track to compare foot size with:

Who actually spotted it? You? Dug? Or did Izzy find it herself?

(Okay, that reminds me, I have to tell this recent story. We were at Dug’s brother’s birthday party recently and he had a dinosaur cake. His request was that everyone, instead of singing happy birthday, pretended to be dinosaurs for 10 seconds. So, we did. And Izzy came right over and pretended to EAT me! Guess she was a carnivore! :lmao:)

Then, of course, it was time for yet another downpour.

Bring ponchos. No rain. Guaranteed.

When it let up some, I ran over to the Toy Story Mania area because they were handing out Star Wars posters to Annual Passholders and Dug wanted one (and I had an AP!)

Cool! Did he know you were doing that?

Dug told me that Izzy had a “pretzel emergency”. :confused3

I totally get that.
I sometimes get those too.

I believe we’d also gotten a few things at that Star Wars gift shop earlier, so Dug ran over to package pick-up to retrieve that.

I was going to ask why you didn't have them delivered to the resort... then I read the rest of the update.
So...... nevermind.

Cute pic.

Izzy had a great time chasing and catching all the bubbles:

Sure looks like she did!

This will not be the last you see of bubbles in this TR. :rolleyes1

Sounds mysterious.

I gave him the seat to rest his aching back, as I was fine standing. Izzy chose to stand with me versus sitting on Dug’s lap.

Now... did she actually stand? Or demand to be held?
Because if it's the latter... and no one offered you their seat.... :sad2:

He said he had wanted to work on the Jungle Cruise, but ended up on this boat instead. :boat: He was cracking joke after joke and encouraging audience participation.

Sounds like a lot of fun!
Gotta love moments like that!

Dug chimed in on a few things and got some attention:

What kind of attention?

The co-captain asked, “What’s a mouse with two legs?” and Izzy spontaneously screamed out, “Mickey!!!” before anyone else.

No way! I never would've guessed that.... and it's so obvious now that she said it!

Dug and Izzy were both awarded Safety Cards:

Cool!

She was quite pleased with her prize:

And so she should be.

I got a call from Enterprise telling me that they were running behind schedule on their pick-ups and asked me to take a cab over, for which they would fully reimburse me. I said okay – that was nice of them.

I would be so worried that I'd have to fight for the reimbursement.

I also confirmed with Bell Services that they would store our bags “long term” while we were on the cruise,

Nice!

As I rode, I checked out MK wait times and was surprised to see Big Thunder was so much shorter than Buzz:

That's.... weird.

set me up with a Ford Fusion, which they said was the best balance of trunk space and MPG vs. the other choices.

aka... it's all we have left.

When I finally walked in the door of our room, thinking they would be itching to go, I found everyone fast asleep:

Come on, guys, time to get up and head to the Poly and the Magic Kingdom! Woo hoo! :cool1: Or not. o_O This is the point where this day really went off the rails. :scared:

Uh, oh...

Yay! I caught up!

Izzy is adorable, and I'm glad to see she finally got a nap. My little guy is only 9 months, so there is no avoiding naps at this point, but I've been with nieces and nephews at Izzy's age who didn't take a nap, and it can make a long day for everyone!

I really need to figure out this whole rider swap thing before next year. There should be 4 adults going (DH and his parents with me), but I think I understand that we can still use the rider swap? It's always just been DH & me before, so I never had to worry about it!

Looking forward to the rest of your TR!

I just traveled with my parents, dh and my 7 week old. You absolutely can use rider swap. Get fp for 2 of you for the big rides, bring your son to the start of the fp queue (or the regular queue) and ask for a swap pass then two ride while the other two wait with your ds then the other two can ride later. Either that day or another day on your trip.

Haha I love CM's who spend that extra time blowing bubbles. I love that they are a favorite of Aria, too.
They are certainly a welcome sight to the under 5 crowd! :thumbsup2

Surprisingly, this hasn't ended with Aria. Every.single.night she puts up a fit if Andrew tries taking her upstairs to bed. (We switch off nights).
Ugh, sorry. Izzy waxes and wanes on this. Sometimes she insists on me, but sometimes she's okay with Dug (or very occasionally prefers him). We don't alternate one for one, but we each take some nights (he did a full week before going to his conference, so that was nice).

That is so cute!
It was cute and totally caught me off guard that she jumped in like that. I guess she takes after her daddy in that way. :scratchin

Good to know! I bet they could do resort transfers too, if you were coming back to stay at another resort?
That's what I was thinking - we originally had hoped to be entirely at the Beach Club during the second half, but there wasn't availability. And I think they would have transferred it straight there for us (as they did a few days after we got back, anyway, since our last night was there).

Oh no! Ugh I'd be annoyed!
Yeah, not what I was expecting - I was running late enough that I thought they'd be waiting for me.

:rolleyes1

I am ridiculously behind on all TRs!
Understandable - you were in WDW, after all. :thumbsup2

It sounds like you had a great trip to the Dells! We have several indoor waterparks here but nothing quite that large. It looks like lots of fun, especially when it's so cold and dreary out!
It was really fun - especially since it was not really outdoor fun weather yet.

Fun breakfast a Sci-Fi! Were they showing clips from old movies as well as previews for TFA? And I can totally understand Izzy's confusing in meeting Darth Vader. Every other character loves her shirt, right??
I honestly can't remember what all they showed - various Star Wars related things? :confused3 I'll have to ask Dug. Yeah, the Vader thing was awkward, as Izzy is convinced he's not a bad guy. :rotfl:

Sorry about the downpour! Definitely not fun, especially when you aren't expecting rain. Glad you and Dug got to ride TOT/Star Tours!
The unexpected rain was annoying - wish they'd shown it in the forecast that morning! :umbrella:

I love those CMs with bubbles. But I always feel bad because there is no way we are buying anything from them.
I feel like they are more there as "magic" than to sell anything. (Of course, when they do, it's a lot of $$$ with the mark up on that stuff). As you will see later, they are authorized to hand out some extra magic to us non-buyers too. pixiedust:

That's great that the rental car situation worked out in the end, but kind of a pain with the taxi and traffic!
It was a bit of a pain (and more pain to come), but I'm glad we did it. Saved us some money on the transfer to the port and gave us freedom to make a stop and show up when we wanted (well, sort of) vs. the Disney bus service.

I have to say our absolutely favorite bathroom is the Rapunzel bathroom. My girls love to just dance in the courtyard area to the music playing. I should create an app to count the amount of times you visit a bathroom on your Disney vacations! I think there could be some interesting chart analysis. ;)
That is a great one! As you'll see in upcoming updates, I attempt to visit that one later unsuccessfully. :sad1: That app would be hilarious! Kind-of like a checklist of Disney rides or restaurants, you could have one of all the restroom visits you've completed. :lmao:

Don't you love how bubbles are almost more fun than some of the attractions at that age? How is something like that so exciting?
I know - she had SUCH a great time with those bubble CMs! :thumbsup2

Yay I'm all caught up!
:cheer2: Welcome back!

Uh oh. Sorry that your night is about to take a turn for the worse. Glad the pick-up for the rental went smoothly, though!
Yeah, the night actually ended up being a blast, but just wasn't what we had planned. (Though I'm not sure Dug and Izzy had as much fun. :rolleyes1) Rental went about as well as I could hope, other than construction slowing us down.
