I'm Not a Chocoate Connoisseur but....

Has anyone tried the Royce chocolate (from Japan). They aren't like a box of chocolates, but oh my--this stuff is delicious. Most of what they sell must be refrigerated and it just melts in your mouth like silk. There are a few U.S. storefronts--Las Vegas for one and I got some in a small store in San Diego. I think there's a few other locations. My coworker buys them in the duty-free shop when she goes to Japan and they pack them up nicely for travel.
LOVE Royce!!😍🤤 I think we've tried majority of their NAMA. My favorite is the champagne!

I love chocolate. Have never had See’s. Here in NY, we used to have Loft’s and Barracini but they are long gone. In NYC, there is Teuscher, delicious fine Swiss chocolate, but very pricey. I like Godiva, Guylian, Lindt, Ferrero, etc.

We have 2 local chocolate shops here with amazing truffles and chocolate bark. One also sells plain chocolate bars with varying percentages of 100% cacao down to milk chocolate.

Maybe 15 years ago or so there was a chocolate company from Atlanta that made the most delicious caramel flavors. They had blackberry and raspberry. Unfortunately I can't remember the name of the company and nothing comes up in my search so I'm guessing they went out of business.

See's is good and Ethel M's from Las Vegas. It's too bad that PA won't allow any chocolates with alcohol to be shipped into the state because Ethel M's had some really, really good chocolates with liquors.

Agree with See's and Bissinger's. We also have a local company (the man is Belgian, not sure about the wife) called Xchocolart that also accepts shipping orders. They do amazing things with flavors, my favorite being their passionfruit caramels.

I do like Sees as well. This thread reminds me in my younger days I was a meter ready for my local city and some business had meters inside their buildings. One of those buildings was a Whitmans chocolate. Used to love going in there.

I like the Russel Stover with the chart telling me whats what and enjoy their caramels and fluffy fruit ones, esp strawberry and the maple. Godiva is yummy and I like they are Halal and many are Kosher for gifts, I like this attribute. My favorite chocolate is Joyva Jell rings though, a guaranteed migraine but I love love love them! Lindt is the best tasting chocolate on its own especially from Europe when I can get a delivery
