Hello all! I hope everyone is doing well. Now that I’m done with school for the year (thank goodness…freshmen year is hard

) I have a lot more time to write my trip report. I don’t like how fast I’m writing because I don’t have a definite plans for another trip so I don’t want it to go too fast. We all know the feeling

.
This is going to be a picturless update (Sorry, my phone and camera were in the process of dying) but because of that I’m going to do a real quick completely Disney related real life update.
Member of my family (Aunts, uncle and baby cousin) were recently on a
DCL (I’m so jealous I love cruises!

). One of the ports on there cruise was Florida so they went to Disney World for the day. They went to Magic Kingdom, ate at Be Our Guest and got my baby cousin his first haircut at the Barber Shop. They sent me some pictures so I figured I’d share them.
During the haircut…I love his facial expression in the picture.
Post Haircut
And since DFather lives in Florida he was able to go down for the day and visit so here’ a picture of my cousin and DFather.
Now on to our regularly schedule trip report…
A Pictureless End to the Evening!
After looking at the Easter Eggs we hopped on the monorail. It was so cold during the majority of our trip (I’ll probably mention this a lot because I was shocked

…and even though I live in the Northeast the cold still really effects me

). Any ways on the monorail there was little boy who was probably about 3 years old and we was dressed in footie pajamas to help keep him warm. After seeing two kids in pajamas I finally realized that parents must have been doing it to help keep their children warm. I thought the kid was adorable and I tweeted:
So many kids in pajamas today
We got off the monorail at the Contemporary! We were still pretty early for our plans so we looked around the gift shop. I got a Stitch cup from the restaurant, unfortunately the outer wall broke on the plane ride home but it’s still usable so it okay!
After a quick shopping trip we headed up to Bay Lake Towers

(My favorite resort) because we were going to the top of the world. DFather is a DVC member so we were able to go up

. When we got up there I tweeted:
I'm on the top of the world...well Disney's top of the world. #disneynerd
I tried to take some pictures but none of them came out well and it was too cold for me to try and figure out my settings. So, we went into the top of the world and got one of the high tables in front of the window.
We were able to see the light show (sorry I don’t know the name

) on the castle from where we were sitting, or bits and pieces of it. Right before Wishes started a family (a mother and 2 daughters) came and stood right in front of me, to the point where I couldn’t see around them. I was really annoyed.
Here’s my pro/con list for watching Wishes from the Top of the World
Pros:
• When it cold its nice to be indoors
• You can hear the music from the show
• Its not as loud (I have a fear of loud noises, I get anixious when it’s too loud, i.e. fireworks, around drums in the marching band parades)
Con:
• The view isn’t as magical as it seeming like it’s going off right behind the castle.
For me the fact that I can watch the show and it not be as loud is the reason I love it!
For people who want to hear the music and watch the show but not be park you can do that from the comtempory balcony and poly’s beach
At the end of the show everyone in the Top of the World started to clap.
I love how no matter where you watch it from people always clap at the end of wishes #disneynerd
After the show we stalled a little while so we weren’t in the traffic getting on the elevator

. When we did we went back over to the monorail (I spotted the 5 legged goat but my phone was dying so I couldn’t take a picture) and headed back to GF. Because DFather’s GF was there (I don’t remember if I mentioned earlier but we meet up with her for dinner and then she spent the evening with us) she drove us back to OKW. When we got there DFather went to bed, I stayed up for little while, I watched TV and edited my pictures.
And that was Day 2. Where did we go the next day?
