I'm Melting!

Holly smokes it's hot here right now! 30c plus for the metric folks an humid as all heck.

Wait times have been anywhere from 5 minutes to an hour on any given attraction at any given time, except Toy Story of course. It has been weird this week, we got in the line for RR today, the line was full to the overhead sign, all the queue was full. By the time we got to the ramp going up towards the door inside, I looked over and the line started at the bottom of the ramp. I guess timing is everything. On the flip side we rode TT and the line started just outside the entrance doors. We came back for our FP visit about an hour and a half later and it was way down past the pond. :confused3. All of this was mid day.

Is it British week this week? I'm asking because it seems like the dominant accent this week. I love listening to it, it has to be one of my favorites.

Billy Ocean was amazing last night at Epcot. I don't know how old he is now but I was listening to his hits when I was in my 20's and I'm 41 now. Anyway he was just full of life and was truly enjoying himself. It was fun, all I needed was a chainsaw to cut down those trees in the auditorium. I don`t get that. Going to see if we can catch Roger Hodgson (Supertramp) next week.

Anyway my 10 bucks is almost up so I got to go.

Sounds like typical temps and crowds for mid to late October. You have the food and wine fest. Great food and wonderful music from great classic bands. And the locals and DVC love this time of the year. We also noticed many British tour groups. So many wonderful people we met in Oct 07.

Being from Canada, I'm willing to bet you don't see to many hot and humid days?:confused3 (at least not like it is in FL in the summer and the tropics):rolleyes1 And by looking at WDW crowds, I think the economy is getting better or WDW is giving a lot of "free" stuff. (free dinning)

I hope your trip is as magical as possible.

P.S. Tell goofy I said hi:yay:

Yep, we were there Monday & Tuesday - weather was hot, crowds were weird (for this time of year), and Billy Ocean was great (I listened from the fountain in front of the pavilion). :thumbsup2

Since record high temps were recorded the last 5 days, I really don't think it's "typical" late October weather. :)

I read somewhere they were expecting "el nino" conditions which translated to warmer temps in the south east than normal.

Oh we get those humid days alright but it is usually from June to mid- Sept and only in sperts. Not expecting it that was all, expected warm just not that.

We are going in 1 week:cool1:and I hope it's not too hot. It's been too hot for October imho. Going to get colder tonight though and I'm glad about that. The fair always comes to town here in eary/mid October. When we were little we wore coats and froze our tails off. It was COLD here back then. My kids could wear shorts to the fair now if they wanted to. I liked it better the other way.:confused3

Yesterday (Thursday) was hot, but today (Friday) was so gorgeous!! There was no humidity, and a nice breeze! Today's weather was perfect! I hope it stays this way until Tuesday, when we go back to Chicago.
